Still 7 tries in 10 games this year thats still probably our highest scorer this year and how many more if had been fitter this year

I’m glad it’s sorted I think we all knew it was over after the Cas debacle.

Best player in relation to his position I have seen in my time watching Trinity. The only out and out WOW player we’ve had. A true entertainer.

Although I hope he goes on to win trophies I think we got the best of him. The club certainly got a return on its investment.

Been a good player for us, and on his day, a match winner.

Having said that, due to injuries, only averaging something like 16/17 games a season. Need your key players playing in more games than that.

Without sounding harsh, a bit of brass will be saved on the medical bill.

Here’s one for the ones who like their stats - since Tanginoa came (80 games ago ago , may 2019 ) )Miller , fifita , Johnstone , and Tupou have only played together on 7 occasions through various reasons , mainly injuries. However you look at it that it’s a poor return on your big investments , and obviously one reason why we are where we are

Sadly that is the story of his career at Wakey.

He leaves with a lot of what ifs due to his injury record.

He has a great carry and obviously his finishing is top class. I’m still of the opinion he has issues in defence but again due to his lack of ability to get a run of games together consistently it’s always going to be a challenge to improve weaknesses in anyones game.

I hope the warmer climate change is environment and coaching can see him on the field more consistently because that is obviously what he needs to do to reach his potential which I think he can do still.

Catalans have clearly showed their hand by retaining Yaha on a new deal as well as having Tom Davis on contract. A nice insurance policy to have in place.

They are 2 very good wingers. Tom has the potential to be the best on the 3 of them however they clearly expect him to miss a few games enduring they have quality back up when he does.

Just watched Tom's interview on Trinity TV . He talked about continuing to help all he can with coaching the young lads for the rest of the season but didn't mention PLAYING. If we could get him on the field even for just a couple of games he could be the difference Between winning or losing those games with his to ability to score a try from nothing and those two games could ensure our survival in SL.

I doubt it will happen.

It's in his interest and Catalans that he doesn't. If I were a cynic I'd say they may already have paid for that - though let me make it clear that I have no idea if thats remotely true.

Not sure I quite follow that logic , he’s got a contract for Three seasons even if he never picks up a ball, Tom has always been Wakefield through and through most of the team he’s played with for at least 3 years. Am 99 percent that if he’s fit he ll play . I’ve been as frustrated as anyone with his various injuries and actually am pleased he’s got a big contract.

I actually agree with you because a slight injury now turns out mysteriously to be much worse. I doubt we will see him again this season playing but unlike you I am more a cynic and say his wages are probably no longer being funded by us.
If so then financially good but performance and survival wise very bad.
