Dropped the head and shoulders worst performers from last week in Miller and Westerman. Miller as captain didn’t rally the team when needed and tried to create something on his own (which failed miserably) instead of communicating and trying to dictate plays. It was an utter shambles so I honestly feel Id like to see Bailey get a shot this week and give miller a break. I actually like miller and think he has a lot to offer but this is as a off the cuff supporting halfback and not as an organising half. It’s painfully obvious he’s not the organising type. He’s gone the captaincy a good go but he’s not vocal enough. The issue is though that I can’t think of anyone in the current team who is captaincy material.

I actually thought of all our forwards last week only Navarette and Fifita caused catalans any real trouble. For me we need to start strong and can’t afford to go a few try’s behind again early or it’s goodnight sienna. This is why we need to start with our best big guns and not have them on the bench this week.

We need to see more expansive play in the 3/4/5th tackles imo. Was far too much one up rugby against Catalans Last week and they just ate us up down the middle. If we are going to go try take them down the middle again which would be a mistake imo then the forwards need to get some aggression in their belly’s and quick ptb’s.

Better find another winger then for my line up!!

Assuming walker, arundel, Kaye, johnstone kershaw, lynne are out we are left with Atkins tupo jowitt Hampshire Miller gigot Croft unless bjb is fit

I doubt Gigot will be fit and was he not registered with Toronto when they played Huddersfield

Looks like either Wood(s) or Westerman in at half back or one of the kids plays.
Certainly Croft will be playing which is no bad thing but if Jowitt and Hampshue in the 1 and 5 spot we need an extra half.
I'd have Atkins in centre with Tupou on the wing.

I would think Catalan will play Mead at fullback and Falou back to the centre.

Unless we get a response then safe to say something is afoot and it's not 12 inch.
