| I suspected this when he wasn't picked for the weekend. As already stated it is puzzling to say the least, if going to leave then should have done it two months ago when injured to enable greater time to get suitable replacement in.
Otherwise stay for the last few months of the season and show Trinity why you were signed from Catalan whilst giving a 'toughened up middle' in Websters words. Possibly the worst value signing in years.
I'm surprised he has got a contract from an NRL club looks washed up....but if he has why haven't we got a signing fee?
When is Kirke fit?

| Thought he would be good for us but, ultimately just hasn't played enough to warrant his signing.
It's the gamble that clubs like ours have to take but, so many times, it's just not worth it.

| No disrespect to Paea but as he's hardly played we won't really miss him.
The forwards are not the problem in my humble opinion - it's the backs.

| sorry to disagree but in my humble opinion i think its the forwards that are getting beat, thats why tim smith is doing nothing hes trying to play behind a beaten pack, and also hes missing paul sykes for his workrate and toughness down the middle,we should have kept him for another season imo.

I'd say it was a mixture of both. The forwards aren't laying down a platform for the halves to work with, but when they get chances the halves (Miller) cock things up. Also the back three do not have the work rate of Mathers/Fox/Cockayne. I'll admit I wasn't a big fan of Cockayne because more often than not he was out of position and the opposition scored the majority of tries down his wing. But we miss his enthuiasm in attack.
When I compare this squad to the one Agar had in 2012 and 2013, the forwards we have now are slightly better but the backs are worse.

| Why is the chairman taking the decision on who should go surely he should wait until the new coach is appointed and let him decide because I am sure he will possess more rugby knowledge than our chairman. All he is doing is weakening our squad before a new coach can come in. He is reducing the wage bill because I doubt very much that we will be able to find suitable replacements in the time available.
If reports are correct another player will be reducing the wage bill and options available this week. I would point out that if it was his decision we would still have Agar in charge because it was only because like Webster he thought it best to go whilst Carter saw nothing wrong with either of them staying.

| Think Carter did the right thing . He had to sound the players out and get a response from them. The new coach will be left with players who want to remain , are willing to put a shift in and hopefully respond in all the right ways. If they don't I think they will be found out very soon , and the coach can judge for himself. I have not agreed with much M C s done or said but he got this one cock on.

because it is the right thing to do. he doesn't want to be here. his family don't want to be here. we only want people that can give 100% and now that gives us chance to bring someone in that does want to be here and the incoming coach some input as to who he wants. good luck to him and well done mr carter for having the ba..s to stand by what he said.
I can't understand why you constantly over analyse the simplest of statements and if the other player you refer to is sammut then we should make sure he is tied up tight so he can't go back to Bradford and get his own way after the crap he has caused

| It's all about opinions ! This lad Got paid to play and didn't and when the chairman asked for commitment from the playing staff or walk this professional player chose to walk that in my eyes is weak and we are better off without if he's not got the bottle to fight for this club who pay his wages then goodbye !time and effort wasted by the club ,he's let all the fans down by falling at the first fence small squad now smaller ! cannot believe some of the posts on hear after 12 weeks of dire rubbish , oh his family oh his injuries , oh his lets walk and leave his mates who he is plastered all over social media with smashing nan dos and drinking coffee some team mate , and while I'm at it new ground you walk up and tell him and any one else you feel that has let you down but please film it it will make for a better season vid than the games so far . Jesus wept

| Big difference between playing in the south of France, then getting a one year deal at Wakey, then getting the opportunity to go back home and play in Oz.
Two of them options are appealing, the other one just hasn't worked out.
As for the 'no bottle' issue, maybe he's still not 100% and feels he can't give his all in the situation we find ourselves in for fear of breaking down again.
Gets a chance to fully recover for his new adventure next season.

Yes but now he's dissing Paea, the good news from that is he's turned his attention away from Nick Scruton

| Carter made a point of saying that Paea requested his move 2 weeks before Webster went.
He has a kid on the way and family back home.
Seems sensible to me.
