If i remember correctly Widnes were given a penalty in the second half that could of won the game at yours last year - danny tickle missed it.

He missed a penalty near the end and then we both took turns missing drop goals before Paul Sykes went over to win it. I remember at our place they could of won it at the end but Ah Van dropped the ball or something. |

| It should be very close so hopefully Trinity forwards dominate again and get space for Timmy Smith and Miller to exploit. Important game against another SL team that may be towards bottom end of the table after 23 games getting the points widens the gap for us.... 
Manuakafoa versus Lopini Paea will be interesting as both have showed some real form.. |

It will be interesting to see how we go in this one. For the first two rounds pretty much everybody outside the club thought we would lose and there was no expectation on us whatsoever. Now after two good wins we are not flying under the radar quite so much and there probably is a touch more pressure. Throw in the plastic pitch factor and we will need to step up another notch to get a result.

if i remember correctly, the tackle from keinhorse was a beauty that saved us at Belle vue. away at widnes it was luck that got us there.
we have been close on many occasions - i am sure many of you will remember Andy Raleighs comment when we finally "broke" them in another previous match!
we have been lucky against them in recent times there is no doubt about that, but that fact will also play on their mind as well.....
