As much as I wasn't too keen on Cockayne the person when we signed him, I actually quite rated Cockayne the player. He was in a much better position to win me over than Owen, who I don't rate at all. |

Jury's still out for me, started off pretty poorly but seems to have settled in a bit now, I'm more confident in defense with him there rather than BC or Foxy. |

Like DC has said, the coach will sign who he wants within the budget and if Owen fits both criteria, then he will be at Wakey next season.
No point moaning about who we maybe signing and who we should be signing.
The maybe signings fit within the budget.
The who we should be signings can only be achieved by a bigger pot to dip into.
Think the recruitment has gone pretty well so far but it wouldn't matter who we signed, some people would still have an excuse not to come to games or buy a season ticket.

Wasn't he signed when Agar was coach? If he did sign a 2.5 yr contract then surely he is a player Agar wanted and not necessarily a Webster choice?
