It's Wakefield fans who all know that we now serve drinks and food at, what I think, is not over the top prices, and every bit of it goes back into the club. Instead they give their money to third parties who are only in it for profit. The burger van at cons club used to be inside the ground and took about 3 k a game. And paid about 200 quid!!!!'"
Hi Daddycool - thanks for doing a great job in rescuing our great club - much appreciated, can i point out one thing tho - not everyone is 100% correct in their decision making 100% of the time (i'm sure you will appreciate that) - there are 8 of us that attended every home game last year and went into the bar at the bottom of the flats - we had a couple of drinks each and at least 4 of us had something to eat. Now the charge to get into that bar has been put in place - we don't use that bar - the bar has never looked full this season and i'm guessing it's due to the charge- we can't afford the additional charge and you have to cut your cloth accordingly ( i know you are aware of this due to the difficult decisions you have had to make to save the club). Is there nothing you can do to reverse this decision (refunds to members who paid for the privilege to use this bar)- whilst i appreciate their commitment to the club - i'm guessing this was a decision that is costing the club money hand over fist.
The option of using the cats bar is not there for us either because the stewards won't let you out of there until way after the kick off(honestly alcatraz must have been easier to get out of) - i think this is why that bar is under used. if this is because people we're sneaking into boxes - then it is still easy to do - how do i pm you and i can let you know- i would not do it. I'm a season ticket holder and love my club - i bought my ticket in spite of sometimes having the opportunity to get an invite into a box. We used to drink in the bar and then go to the box just before kick off. If we don't get an invite we use the Northstand but being a 'lady' - i use the term loosely - i'm not comfortable drinking on the terraces.
I'm honestly not having a go - i wish i could have done what you have for this great club - but from a fans perspective - this may have been a decision made in haste and is just my opinion.
By the way my nephew had a pie at half time - said it was a decent pie and only cost £1.50 - he might have had peas on too but they were an additional £1.50 ???
Good luck with everything you do for the club and here's to a successful season on and off the pitch

| The decision to make that bar members only wasn't a great one for us too as it was our match day watering hole. Have to say for last 2 home games have had no issues with entering and leaving Cats bar. We go in at 2 show tix to very polite security and leave 245 to walk up to turnstiles. Used to have a half time pint at bar and queues were always very healthy. Takings must have taken a real nosedive since became members only particularly during big local Derbys. Don't know the numbers that have taken up the offer but an educated guess would assume that a u-turn on this could be a good move. Question for this weeks fan forum meeting?

I agree the security people are very polite and were apologetic - it's the door that lets you into the ground that they wouldn't let me out of - i also don't have the 'facts' regarding numbers and take up of the membership but am guessing like yourself that takings must have taken a real nosedive - ope the club could take a look at the stats. going to try and get to the forum - transport issues- if i can't make it would someone please ask this to Micheal.

While you are at it. Look into the reason why the door was locked on one side of the toilets behind the east stand and why there was no lights working inside. Absolute Chaos at half time with people trying to use them.
When you get time also ask why the PA system in the East stand has not worked since last season.
Sorry to burden you with these problems but I hope you are now realising that as soon as you fix something at Belle Vue ,something else crops up. The ground is a never ending nightmare which will continue till we move.

| I wanted to buy my tickets online as I work so am unable to get to the shop during the week but I went on the website and was unable to, it looked as if I was only able to buy season tickets and not individual match tickets. I usally pay on the gate but as we are at reduced capacity I didn't want to risk missing out hence I tried to buy in advance. As it happens I had no issues getting in and the extra £2 doesn't bother me but some people may have not bothered if they had tried to buy is advance and failed and didn't want to turn up at risk of not getting in.
Now i saw on the website that some company has been brought on board to improve the clubs E-Commerce but i dont think it is too much to ask that we can buy individual match tickets from the website.

| Its a lot better than £3.50 for a can of Boddingtons on a concrete concourse at Old Trafford.
Its not a bad pint but its not Ossett Breweries standard, i guess we get a better deal from Thwaites.

Will be that Smooth will last for months in a keg where as say an Ossett on handpull will only last 3 days. However if you can't shift at least 1 barrel (70 pints) on match day I don't see why cask beer can not be put on.

| Arrived early with the family ,inlaws and friends.Got a table to ourselves in the Cats Bar,couple of pints each, natter with old mates got to our seats with no problems, enjoyed a spirited Trin performance so a good day all round, apart from the result so not everybody found something to moan about. My mother doesn't moan as much as some on here and she's a moaning world champion.Keep up the good work MC,it will all come together eventually.

| just a thought, are there any checks done on people bringing their own drinks in ? home and away fans. That would be a bigger loss than fans drinking else where before the game, which is almost impossible to stop.

Not moaning cos i think MC has done more than anyone could to get this great club turned around. i also went into the cats bar and u probably got a table to your selves very easy- i admit it was about 2.45 pm when i went in ( went to shop before kick off for our Leeds cup tickets) but the atmosphere was dead. In the other bar last season it was standing room only from 2pm onwards with folk queueing for beer. The atmosphere in there was great with lots of banter.
Although i'm only guessing numbers wise - i was pointing out the difference between this season and last, this is only my opinion - but i feel we're loosing much needed revenue because of this decision. We all want more money coming into the club and all want the same thing - for WAKEFIELD TRINITY - to be great again - revenue will help us to build this again - especially when 100% profits of the hospitality money goes directly back to the club.
I enjoyed the game also - well until 10 mins after half time - but the promise is there and i'm confident we will avoid relegation.
