The problem with these live-wires is that even if they're charged, they'll be straight back on to the circuit in no time; the only thing you can do is isolate them, and hope that they switch their behaviour to something more positive.

Either way, good luck to Cas - this might be the jolt they need to start the season with a bang.

Its a shame the current situation at Cas has happened when it has, they already had a surge of stadium costs which are now running parallel with the cost of new cables. Looks like the repairs needed on the ground have caused an arc in the bank book, it could lead to a financial blackout.

The way the police are nowadays they'd just be discharged on bail anyway. Lets hope its not one of a series of thefts at the Tigers.

This news could have a very negative affect on attendances at Cas games this year.
It could put a lot of the neutrals off!!

On a serious note Liam Watts from Hull FC has been seen at Diggerland, the message down the line is that Hull FC wont shed light on the situation until final terms have been agreed.

It's caused some major hand-wringing over on the loony bin, with the predictable finger pointing at the local travelling friends (I actually typed that.)

Pity they didn't feel the same outrage when it happened to us - if I recall correctly, there was much mickey (typed that aswell) taking and very little sympathy from certain quarters.

On a serious note - there are some horrible scrotes in circulation; and the people who stole the cables aren't very nice either.

Oh dear, why did they have to report this on Sky Sports News too. Not the sort of exposure RL needs really, SL Club Chairman almost in tears about some metal being pinched.

They are even proposing a collections (begging) to raise funds for this cable theft

I hope ITV Calendar go there and speak to a Cas Tigers cable theft relief group representative about their efforts.
