Not much help I know but this says he played for us. I'm guessing about 1992 or later mid season signing and not many games.

after hull won promotion in 1997' there was the elongated premiership competition. This is when Divorty turned out for Wakey.
When did Norton play for Wakey? He signed for Hull from Cas in 1977 and retired from playing at Hull ten years later. He had been at Cas for years. |

As MMJ mentionned Divorty played for Wakey in the 1997 Premiership campaign which started in August of that year.
I distinctly remember him playing for Wakey against Hull at Boothferry Park and getting roundly booed every time he touched the ball which seems a tad harsh in hindsight seen as he was part of the Hull squad which got us promoted to SL earlier that year!  |

Norton played at Wakefield after leaving Hull. He was an old man but great to watch. Saw him play agaist Cas at WR when reports from inside the camp said he was still a bit pished. He got the ball and ran at the line then stopped as if ref had blown. Everybody stopped. Then he just charged off through the line. They caught him but it was very funny. |
