| Pretty disrespectful towards Catalans a side who could well humble some! Lets focus on one game at a time and not get carried away. To even think about round 2 in the play-offs we need to be at our best and have a little luck.
Even if we win, it wouldn't surprise me if KR went and beat Leeds.

| I agree about Catalan. Our recent good form could cost us now, as we are playing teams we have recently humbled, and revenge is a good motivator. Remember that the Catalan chairman offered all the players a free pass out of the club after we beat them last week. A week later, they beat Saints. They will come to Belle Vue pretty motivated.
If we do get through, KR away is a game I will gladly miss. They treat away fans appallingly, and if we won, I wouldn't be sure to get back to my car without getting thumped. They bring a lot to the party in terms of numbers, but they bring an attitude to the party that the game can do without.

Barman in Perpignan last week told us that Warrington and Hull KR bring the most fans to France, but the Hull KR fans spend all weekend fighting. It's not just a KR thing though, because the Hull FC game used to have the biggest risk of trouble. Must be something to do with the city, because away fans seem to have problems at the FC ground too.

God don't some people spout some drivel, I have been to every away match this season, including perpignan and have seen nothing more than the odd gobe spouting off and becoming an iritant and as for constant fighting in perpignan, give it a rest.
We may have the odd fans on here who like to perpetuate the myth that we travel in bigger numbers then migrating widerbeast but that doesn't mean we should get constantly tarred with the brush that we are somehow RL's version of Millwall.
All teams have there sets of numpties (remember your televised game against catalan where the cameras showed the abuse the group of 4 catalans fans, including a woman, got at your place) but spouting this kind of thing just gives our sport a bad name.
I was a BV on Saturday and apart from our performance I enjoyed the day out, the wakey fans I met were very sociable and I'm sure if come Saturday week and IF you beat catalan you'll be met with the same cordiallity at our place.
RL is a family sport and 99.9% of the people who go treat it as such, don;t preach the minor negatives and especially on hearsay, the national press do a good enough job of putting our sport down without us helping.

| Do a poll of the fans from all the clubs outside of Hull on who are the most troublesome fans, and I bet the two Hull clubs will come top.
I agree that most fans will be okay, and maybe it is a debate for a different day, but Hull seems to have its fair share of numpties, and when one or both of the clubs start to do well, they come crawling out. I accept that the KR fans who were there three years ago, back in the NL1 days, will be fine.
The problem is made worse by the fact that both clubs seem happy to make it uncomfortable for away fans. Hull KR as a club treated Wakey fans very poorly this year, and the stewards at the KC don't seem to mind the intimidation of away fans by a large section of idiots that goes way beyond banter.

By virtue of us being froma big city with a large population you will find we have a larger number of numpties than most. Also we do tend to travel in reasonably large numbers so therefore our number of idiots may seem more than say harlequins for instance. I agree that in our forst year in Sl we seemed to acquire a small minority who seemed to be looking for the trouble spots but since that point they seem to have dssappeared (seemingly coinsideing with City's promotion tho the PL).
I can also say that at no other ground have we heard of our supporters cars being vandalised, yet both when we have been to BV previoulsy and reportedly when FC came this year cars where vandalised. Does this mean BV is the worst place to come in SL??
What I don't like to here is rumour and hearsay being told as fact, the perpignan thing for instance made it sund like it was an England world cup group match from the mid 80's. As I was there I can catagorically say there was no evident trouble during the whole weekend, nor has there been for the 2 years previous.
I agree our away facilities are pretty substandard and are in need of a total rebuild, hopefully sooner rather than later. If our stewards were overly keen then hopefully next time you'll find it all together nicer place and the stewards will have been told.

| FC & KR have always been the two games that I have been most wary of and have never taken my Wife to Hull KR.
Ever team has it's share of idiots; but some of the KR fans destroy the line between banter and deliberately looking for trouble.
The 'fans' stood behind us on Saturday were desperate to cause trouble, derisory comments regarding fans displaying 'Watene 8' on their shirts, objects thrown etc.
There is also a damn good reason why away fans were not allowed in Cats bar.......

You can't categorrically say that just because you didn't see any trouble.
Having said that - the KR supporters near me on Saturday were great. A lot of banter flying around and the odd expletive but good humoured and ending with handshakes and, "We'll see you at Old Trafford".
I'm looking forward to going wherever we have to go in the second round -it means we've won the first match and we've done better than ever before in our SL existence.

Part time supporter I know but I was a Mott The Hoople fan before I was a Trinity fan
How old are you man
Is it the full line up with Mr Hunter?
Great band by the way.

| KR is the only away that I have been to in Rigby where a police escort is required to get the coaches out.
And Wakey are not considered big rivals that must say something.

I said evident which means I never saw any and in that respect it was catagoric.
