So why have some of your first team players had problems been paid? Then offering new deals to players but on less money... Sounds to me like you are trying to cover it up pal.
Don't worry about us, w ehave no money problems at all.

I don't know why. You seem to be the one who knows all about finances at various clubs!

mostly rumour especially in respect to richie owen a deal will be struck soon.
wainny had this problem last year - terry wanted him to stay but because our at times inept board have a nack of over spending on average aussies we are left with little left in the coffers for our squad players and they are treated poorly. this happens when you do not spend to the full cap - the phase penny wise pound foolish springs to mind.
sometimes a player is offered less money as they were on more money than they should have been (deals negotiated by others no longer at the club) or may be because they are getting older and no longer commmand the money they once did or maybe TM doesn't want them at the club unless they get them very cheap!

The deal that was put on the table was shocking and that has come from a reliable person.
Let's not say Wakey have cash problems when we don't! It's Cas and Hudds fans living in a fantasy world

the deal for boyle? if so i know exactly how bad it was. and i would not expect ryan to stay he has responsabilities and to me it would make me think i was bette roff elsewhere as i am obviously not appreciated by TM but that said ryan loves cas and wants to stay - tough call for the kid.

Amazing. As well as being the all seeing eye as regards the finances of every club going, you think you can read minds now.
Unfortunately you were wrong. What I was getting at was that your fellow Cas fan is hardly reknown as being a sage on these forums.

The most recent accounts for both clubs ,indicate they are both stable.
Although Castlefords only show positive net worth due to a re valuation reserve and they have a ccj registered against them in April -tut tut.

Not only him the same can be said about a few other players. But I will not mention names on here as it's not fair.
But it's safe to say Cas are looking to save a lot of money by offering players less money.
And yet it's Wakey who have money problems who are getting players who will command quite high wages

cutting corners to bring in new faces on silly money also for some reason it's how cas do business - it's not the way i woudl do it!
i know chris feather is having trouble negotiating a contract - but maybe it's just cas starting out low in stead of just throwing money at players un necessarily. answer this if a player is not wanted elsewhere why offe rhim more than you have to?

So now you're saying your players are not good enough to get contracts at any other clubs ??

Not cutting corners. We will have a good team next year and it will be a better team than this season (on paper that is so hopefuly it will prove that way on the pitch)
Well if what you say is true I would be very worried at the players Cas "don't want to keep"

It seems to me that is exactly what Wakey are doing though I don't know about silly money more clearing out players, who are not good enough or who have gone as far as they can with the club, to bring in fresh faces.
Seems both clubs are doing similar sort of business yet both sets of fans believe the other to be in financial trouble. I have no idea either way but wont believe a word of it till someone puts up some real evidence which I really doubt anyone on here can.

Never said you were thick over it, although you seem rather fixed in your interpretation.
Anyway, if it helps, I'll explain it.
Essentially I was, in a tongue in cheek manner, suggesting that his own opinion on Boyle is not really at the heart of Cas' decision to offer him a contract or not. Obviously this was intended as sarcasm, and as such to have to subsequently spell out that by 'cannot believe' I actually mean 'of course I can believe they are willing to do so as your opinion as a poster who regularly spouts crap' would have defeated the object.
Quite clearly having to dissect my post and the subsequent dialogue has also tarnished what was, admittedly in the first place anyway, a rather weak effort. Nonetheless I don't feel too guilty over that as you seem to be the one intent on being right over what someone else thinks and says.
