Quote: gowerthegroap "Jolly good. This must be how it feels when you've made it...

Although lets be fair, there is enough of their garbage touted on here so it's a lot of tat and plenty of tit. From the outside looking in it's quite easy to see why fans of other clubs get balled off with this tiresome Wakefield/Castleford oneupmanship. I'm a Wakefield fan and I'm pretty well tired of it. Between us I think we've almost reached propaganda melting point!! I can't wait til the decision is made, we know either way, and all the while, a little thing called rugby league might take our minds off it all in the background. Roll on Widnes away!!'"

LOOKING FOR ACCOMMODATION IN ORLANDO, FLORIDA //www.orlandovilla.org.uk:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_22151.jpg

I have not seen the Section 106 Agreement but I know that the Inspector is discussing Conditions and the Section 106 tomorrow before closing Statements from YCP, WMDC and LCC.

The Inspector is a very intelligent man and he is not going to allow YCP, assuming he recommends approval of the application, to build out all the B8, Hotel, Restaraunt etc. without some guarantee that the Stadium is built.

I think it is resasonable to allow YCP to develop some of the site before the Stadium in order to receive receipts to fund their investment into the Stadium and I suspect that they will be allowed to build some of the B8 prior to the Stadium.

As they have said work on the Stadium will commence mid 2012 and take 59 weeks I would not be surprised if they already have occupiers for a fair amount of the B8 and they are wanting to secure those occupiers and start on that as soon as possible so as to generate the receipts to build the Stadium.

I'm certain there is no problem - its how Developers work.

Problem is, there doesn't seem to be a clear indication of what is going to happen and what is agreed, which is why our cousins over the river are jumping on it. It is vague at best.
Would be nice to see (or hear if discussed tomorrow) what the schedule is.

Sandalcat has sumed it up nicely. We can also assume WMDC learnt their lesson at Glasshoughton and they will also be
making this agreement tight so the stadium gets built. The last thing WMDC want is another building plot for a stadium with no funding to complete.

Quote: RebelRebel "An excellent point, and one that's easily overlooked. Both clubs are in a horrible situation at the moment. We can't ignore it or avoid it, but we could show a little respect to others whilst debating it.

This thread has been cleaned up, from a certain point. Please don't drag irrelevant aspects of opponents' personalities into the debate. If you want a new stadium, show you deserve it! Thanks for posting this, was thinking about posting along similar lines but thought due to the club i support the message would be lost to some.

I'm sick of wakefield fans (and a few fev fans, with one leeds fan) talking like they know the ins and outs of cas's new stadium(when they in all likely hood know jack all) , and i'm sick of cas fans talking like they know the ins and outs of wakefields stadium (when they in all likely hood know jack all).

Lets just concentrate on our own projects and wish each other well.

Totally agree but this is what licensing is doing to our great game.

Let me be the first to wish you well in achieving your goal of a new stadium at Glasshoughton. I would love us both to be playing out of new stadia by the next licensing round and continue our rivalry in SL 2015 and beyond.

EVENTUALLY, WE'LL WIN SOMETHING, ,MAYBE, IF I'M STILL ALIVE THEN:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_31007.jpg

Although I can only go on what I have read on here, I get the impression that it all went well and I can satisfy myself with the thought that we gave it our best shot, and if it isn't approved, it never was going to be. If so, we would have two years to get Belle Vue into a shape that would satisfy the RFL. Without being critical of other grounds, it would be possible to get it to be as good as Craven Park and Odsal and Wheldon Road. If we can't, then that is it for ever, but I feel optimistic.

Other latest offerings are that YCP will wait for planning to be granted and sell the land on.

You are correct in what you say, people should stop getting ahead of themselves, it is not a foregone conclusion. Wait and see if the inquiry goes our way and then timings can be a topic for conversation.'"

I may take him up on that, i'm "thinking" of building a stadium myself and im "thinking" of building it at NW.

That forum in the main is hardcore anti Wakey and does not represent Cas fans in general.

Don't mention anything said on that site, they'll look on here and report back that you are watching them.

Then they'll spend time talking about us watching them while they watch us, exiciting stuff eh.

Cloak and dagger stuff with a few added winks.

That went well... a great piece of property bought for cash in Docklands off a very nice Eastern European guy. He said he liked cash in brown paper bags best of all and give me a discount for cash, which meant I could by a new massive 3D HD TV for the place from Harrods! I am a winner, my Eastern European friend is a winner and the tax man is oblivious!

Nothing new to see here then I see... same old, same old!

Sick to the back teeth of you as are the rest of us to be honest. Instead of praying for our venture to fail why not try to do something productive with your own or else just stop posting on here trying to come over all nicey nice then going to your other board with your snide comments. Wouldn't surprise me if you were part of the plan that tried and failed to ambush the PI yesterday. Sad b'stard
