They shouldn’t change anything until they have 13 grade A teams. Then you look to have a full review.

You have to be very careful. You are asking 30+ clubs to invest in areas to meet criteria to get placement or funding.

Just changing the boundary for marks is not straightforward as you could be directly impacting teams who have almost achieved it.

It’s something to look at in review though but absolutely not after year 1 of the process and new format. Maybe after year 3 then 5 then 7.

I am excited by the prospect of the league expanding at the top. Be great to see 14 and loop fixtures removed.

Just been reading that IMG has been sold to the owners of WWE for $3.25 billion,wonder if that will have any effect on future dealings with the RFL ,who are currently paying them £400K a year on a 10 year contract. Very expensive advice, I am sure that some posters (and moderators) on this forum would have offered their services for less !

No, because it's still under the same group of owners that it originally was. IMG was acquired originally by William Morris Endeavor and Silver Lake Partners in a $2.4 billion deal to form WME-IMG. WME-IMG reorganised in October 2017 with the parent company being renamed Endeavor, and IMG and WME becoming subsidiaries of Endeavor. Then last year, TKO Group Holdings was created when the UFC and WWE formed a new publicly traded company. Before that Endeavour bought out Vince McMahon of the WWE, and before that, they bought out the UFC back in 2017 off owners the Fertitta brothers and Dana White. TKO is a subsidiary of Endeavor Group Holdings, which Ari Emanuel is CEO and owns a chunk of.
As a bit of info, if you used to watch Entourage on TV a few years ago, Ari Emanuel was the inspiration for the main character Ari Gold, played by Jeremy Piven.

IMG is still under the same parent company.
It's sold to another sports company in the same corporate structure. Along with some other sports companies.

Can't see it changing anything for us.
