I would of liked to be sat in the room with them and ask the council a few questions but this isn't my club so we can only wait while this is achieved

other jobs now have taken preference as in emergency exits to allow evacuation out of the stands in the north and east

while the Castleford council sorry while the Wakefield council mull over the barrier testing we are now trying to open up and make sure the flood gates in the north stand are working and operational, this will only be temporary as I will request that there are replaced with better ones, you just couldn't believe it the last regime blocked them off with advertising boards

on going smartening up is still going with the brush and paint and nooks and crannies tidied.

I'd have gone down this morning and cleaned them out myself had I known they were in such a state. Numerous fans commenting what a shambles it was. Felt like all the hard work that had been done in the last month by so many people tidying up and improving the ground had been undone in an instant. Can anyone imagine walking into the toilets at any other Super League club and finding the same mess.

i stood at the north west corner and can honestly say i couldn't fault the experience. clean surroundings, clean toilets and fast service at the food bar.

next up is removal of the old dug outs in the east stand, these will be levelled to wall level either side and cut outs in the wall to make new flood gates as requested by the council
