| Hang on folks I think the wrong Tupou is getting the stick here!
Bill is the least of our problems. OK he has issues with certain skills, but he's athletic, reasonably quick and not a bad defender. Whichever way you look it , he has contributed far maore than his overpaid namesake.

| Bill is a good tackler. He carries the ball with vigour . He certainly has pace. Plenty there to work with. Certainly not 'pedestrian'.

Agreed. Stick him at second row and he could be for us what Jake Webster is for Cas. However, he is awful at centre. His try and assist return is shocking - I bet Gibson has more and he's been injured majority of the year.

I'm not in agreement with your assessment of Bill Tupou. I'm not commenting on your right or your intelligence regarding expressing your opinions, no matter how different they may be to mine.

I haven't assessed Bil Tupou. More like the fact you can be skitty and snarky at people (myself included) but don't like
it when you get similar from Vasty.

I stand on the terraces at all home games and most aways. I see players do good stuff and players do bad. My comments reflect this.
Apologies for having opinions and using an opinion based message board for sharing them.
You like him and think he's worth an overseas slot, I don't. End of.'"
Thought you'd react all hurt and bruised, funny how you didn't mind dismissing Altofts comments as totally stupid - there is a word for that.
Everthing you say in your post is correct but surely it also applies to other posters.
Oh and no I don't think your personally clueless I meant the whole anti Tupou thing - should have been clearer.

He's only awful in your mind, most of us see it diferently - but then Mary Poppins would be a sub standard nanny where your concerned
Oh and Maple didn't say stick him in the second row he said he was "potentially" a second row - but I'm fairly sure he see's him as a usefull if blunt centre for now as we don't have the luxury of of anyone else.

This...he is a very strong runner with the ball and a useful player for Trinity in my opinion as either a centre or a winger.

I've thought that for a bit. I reckon he'd excel in the second row. He carries the ball like one, defensively he could do the job and with the amount of players going for his spot, he could be used better there imo. I'm actually surprised he's never slotted in there when we were injury hit.

| Well i don't have a scooby doo about what is really going on in the background, but I hate this time of year and, from where I'm sitting right now - with several issues still left to sort out, it looks (on the face of it), like we haven't made the most of being confirmed in SL since July.
If Anthony Tupou is going, we need him gone - not that that is easy if he doesn't want to go.
I am a David Fifita fan, but something isn't going well there or he'd be signed by now.
Anthony Walker is on contract next year and I'm not aware of that changing.
No-one has said much about the Kirmond / Owen / Annakin issue. I hope all are recovering well and Kirmo seems to be back in the fold, and now Owen is back of Twitter and looks fine, but who knows. I've heard nothing about Annakin so don't know if early rumours were correct or otherwise.
But the biggie is Scott Moore. There may be stuff behind the scenes we don't know, but to have such a major part of the team in doubt at this stage is a real blow. Lunt is staying at HKR, Pelissier is going to Leigh - so where do we go? A major part of Leeds' problem last year was that they lost Aiton and ended up with Falloon - a terrible player, who they dumped at the earliest opportunity - showing how difficult it can be to find a decent hooker!
Danny Addy - don't know him well enough to judge.
Paddy Flynn - surely has to be wrong - please let it be wrong!
Adam Walker - yes please!
So whilst we have the makings of a decent squad, enough holes still exist to make me very nervous about 2017. I wouldn't want the job of putting it right, but if I did, at least I wouldn't be Scooby Doo!

| As TRB said above if the bulk of the squad is not sorted by now after all the time we have had then we only have ourselves to blame if things don't turn out.
However I really hope we sorted other signings out that are still to be announced, because the 4 players we know about will not be enough IMHO
As far a s moore and the 'car crash three' this is house keeping and tidying up the squad, which could not be forseen

| You guys have been reading my thoughts. Was just about to express my concern as to the way things have seemingly stalled. Additionally whilst acknowledging the situation re: Kirmond, Owen and Annakin may be 'delicate' I cannot understand why we have not heard anything definite about their injuries and progress as would be the norm with on field/ training injuries.
