At whitehaven mcnally was playing out of his skin in the halves, got signed up by shudds and played at full back. Saw him quite a bit couple of years ago at whitehaven and seemed to have bags of potential very much like another young half back in gareth moore, i wouldnt be dissapointed in him as a squad player but we need 2 good quality half backs not players with potential.

I would be happy with 1 quality halfback and Moore, Wildie, Kaye to fight for the other halfback slot.

Mcnally,Raleigh,Kirmond to Wakey.Murphy to Hudds i got told today from one of the players involved.

That would make things interesting on here, heard Raleighs name mentioned a few times but not Danny Kirmond.

We'll see what comes of it.

Why would Hudds want Murphy? Think they've got the backs positions covered Theres Grix, Cudjoe, McGillivray, Lawrence, George, Wardle, Simpson, Eden, Gilmour & Cording that all play in Murphys positions. If he goes he's going to be getting splinters in his backside.

Tough choice 1 v good player with excellent potential or 3 average players that will do a job, and to Sheffield giants too probably makes it worse, I know there a decent team but these 3 don't get in Hudd team still undecided, might accept, might dislike the option but wouldn't be happy I know that for sure !

For me if they want murphy id only accept one of there better centres or theres no point. Hes not itching for a move and we dont need the money or any of those 3 desperatly. So if not tell them where to stick it

There are Plenty of players available though, I would have thought in a few weeks we will see the squad in it's entirity.

i asked aron on friday night if there was any truth in rummers linking with shudds he told me none what so ever and he will def be a wakey player next season

Well I for one hope we can retain him for the fullback role and wing rotation.
