If you have been told by someone other than Jay that he was not offered a contract by Wakefield then that would be a different tale.

I have nothing against players moving on but we must realise that often we try our very best to keep them and then here from reliable sources that they were not wanted.

Again I confirm that if Jay told you directly that he was not offered a contract then I will telephone him and ask him to go public.

I do feel at times that although we like this 'family club' feel, the players can almost be too accessible to the point where supporters think they are 'friends' with them and start to distrust anything to club do 'against' them. That can never be a good thing, there should be some seperation between professional sportsmen and those who pay to watch them.

With regards to believing what players say, remember Solomona told supporters he was staying at Wakefield. I just can't see why if Pitts was forced out why he hasn't said so in the press. Usually a departing player has no problem sticking the boot in after they have left if they feel hard. done by

i have stated elsewhere in this thread i dont know jay , what i do know is that he was given little option in staying and you seem to be clued up in the fact he was offered something but i think we both know that it was not adequate. Jay would of stayed if he was given a fair deal . All this bollox makes me sick time and time again i back the club as having the interest of the club at heart but this time they have lost my support.

you can telephone jay and ask him whether or not he was happy at Wakefield and if he saw his long term future at the club.
