| Be known as one of the halfbacks who secured a return to SL for Bradford or sign for Wakefield and struggle to keep his place in the side. As soon as Bradford are back in the league they’ll thrive from the help of the RFL.

| Quote dboy="dboy"Lol. They’ll be bust again, before getting anywhere near a return to SL.'"
Really ?
They will be challenging for a top 4 spot next season and if we stick with the same league format, they will then be battling for a SL spot. Even if they dont make it next season, they will be knocking the door down the season after.
Most people seem to want them back in SL a.s.a.p. and with Kear at the helm, you wouldn't back against them.

| Do most people want them back?? Most people I know, especially those who follow Championship clubs, detest them for the way they have been given every advantage and support going!
They’ll be top half in the next division, but if they think it will be easy to break into the top 6,they will be wrong.
I can see Widnes or Salford (or both), being in there with them, which will only make it harder to get out of the division.
As for the promotion/relegation system...strong rumours of going to straight 1 up, 1 down, so harder than ever!

| Quote lampyboy="lampyboy"Joe Keyes from Bradford . Didn't we have a go for him while at London'"
Was rumoured to be going to Fax (i can't see happening as they're part time and he signed for 2 years, so they wouldn't be able to afford a fee and they're not FT/in Sl like Wakey where they will probably;y be a released clause)
Keyes is on a PT deal with us and has been excellent this year, while i do think he enjoys being at Bradford and will no doubt probably be offered a FT deal next year and us slowly improving and rebuilding back up, I don't think we can compete with a stable SL club like Wakey. Lilley signing for 18 months will also fuel the rumours.
Hopefully this is another rumour MC has a chuckle at when he reads it (PS Keyes has been rubbish this season )

Every advantage and support going? We had no central funding and a 12 point deduction last year. Real advantage there. All to suit the RFL not having to change the fixture list! should have been in league one last year.
The championship team followers detest us? They may but their chairmen certainly didnt when hoardes of Bulls fans were turning up spending their hard earned, with the likes of Fev putting prices up for that game only! Then announcing ridiculous attendances when it was obvious more people were there than stated.
No one on our end is expecting miracles next year if we get promoted. All we want is no issues money wise and steady progress going forward. No expectations of SL or any vivid dreams of any kind
I find this attitude against us won't go away. I enjoy reading posts on here as you have some good posters, and I think the progress your club has made has been top work, but obviously people create opinions on the club while ignoring half the information then preach it as gospel

Some fair points made there thepimp007 and good luck for the future. I think the biggest damage Bradford suffered was over the "iconic" stadium lease agreement which didn't sit well with most non-Bradford fans. But as I'm sure many of your fellow supporters will point out similar deals have happened to Keighley and the like. Also with the success the Bulls had in the last decade there maybe a little bit of envy and satisfaction at the fall from grace. A bit like people wetting themselves over the Rhinos potentially being in the Middle 8s.

Yep. SL is poorer both financially and as a spectacle without them.
Clearly they have to prove they are financially viable but I'd welcome them back and help them do it to.

Out of interest help them in what way Poptart?
My stance on it is that i really could not care less about Bradford.

Yes can see why it may have ruffled feathers, but then we also had the bucket collections which a lot of people put into and can understand the frustration it didnt keep us from entering administration. The lease was bought from us because of its potential resale value in my eyes. Rugby has to be played there until 2019 then its a free for all if not renegotiated. If the lease was to be sold with the ground being used as landfill it could be worth a pretty penny.
Some people do like to see successful rivals falter. Don't get me wrong in 2016 when Leeds were struggling it was funny to see them lose games expected to win. But when the realisation that they could possibly be in danger of dropping from SL it stopped being funny for the good of the game. Leeds are massive and any loss of them to SL would be crippling I believe.
I'm not saying we could add the same value as them nor want a super league return unless its warranted on the field alone. Thanks for your unbiased and reasoned reply

This is the main thing Poptart, a lot of people expect Bulls fans to expect to be in SL. The first issue for me is lets have a couple of seasons with no threats of admin or winding up, then take a view of how we can go properly forward. Being back in SL EVENTUALLY would be brilliant as a supporter, but only if warranted on the field with a stable background. I would rather the club live within its means and be a solid championship club than be unsustainable chasing the dream as was the case with Green/Ferres etc.
Sorry for derailing your rumour thread and I fully think if you could get Brough he would be a great addition to you and exactly what you need
