I don’t care whether Cas fans agree. I watched a few Cas games back end of season where Hall played right centre and he was one of Cas’s better players and certainly has solid defensively. What Cas fans may say won’t change what I watched.

We have to accept that we may be weakened whomever we move. Pitts moving from 13 weakens us as does Mckmeeken etc. we may have to hope Vagana is fit so he can slot straight into right SR without disrupting the pack too much.

Will be interesting to see how Powell shuffles if needed. Hopefully a couple come back so it makes it easier.

If Vagana’s fit we’ve got an awesome pack. I’d move Hall to second row if not. He’s a grafter and he runs okay lines, and I’d sooner see Rourke in the centres than Pitts or Cozza covering second row.

I think we’ll be alright… just. Another injury against Goole and we’re digging in a bit, which is a shame for round one. Leeds are down a handful too though - I’m backing us.

I'm less worried about Seth than I am Scott.
Firstly he's looked awesome so far and is going to be a star performer for us....so will be missed.
But he's had a lot of fitness issues and was hoping we'd be able to sort it out for him.
Time will tell.

A thumb fracture isn’t too bad either. Quite a clear timeline, can stay fit, and doesn’t knock your confidence too much. He should slot straight back in.

Feel for Scott, he was looking great. But once we’ve got a SR back we can move Hall into that centre spot and we should be fine. I get what people are saying about Hall not being a world beater, but I do think he’s got massive improvement in him and he just stalled a bit.

Yeah, Renouf and Vagana won't be available for the Goole game but most probably will be available for our first SL game, TJ will be having his first run out against Goole though. Seth's out for 8 weeks and Scott is nursing a torn hamstring, so hopefully he can recover and get back on the pitch sooner than later. Like you say anymore and we're running into trouble already which is a bit crazy tbh.

That’s the worst part.

It’s not so much we can’t cover but more the loss of a player who was looking dangerous for us on that right edge. Scott looks the business and I was really looking forward to seeing Storton, Scott, Walmsley grow together on that edge. It will happen and I’m sure Scott will slot into place in a few weeks.

Should be a good following from us and a good attendance overall

I thought the club had sold their first allocation of 850. And have got more. Suspect we will be around the 1500 mark. Good following for away. Be nice to get 2k away fans.
