Yep if a trophy on offer for the worst run club over the last twenty years we would have won it hands down. The last two seasons would have gone to extra time with Bradford.

We were relegated fair and square and also regained our Super League status by winning 2 GF's fair and square. Failing to see what you are getting at. Other than that, no 11th hour decision to omit teams every helped us!! |

You may have still been above them if they had got the points back, but are you telling me that it wouldn't have made it squeaky bum time until the end to the season?. You beat London and they lose to Salford and its game set and match, so your SL status once again decided by off field issues aka Crusaders!! |

If you are referring to the demise of the Crusaders just remember you were also considered for the loss of your licence at the same time. I would also add an hint of caution on your behalf because we have been in the rarified atmosphere of the play off. The problem for clubs like us is that it puts your players in the spotlight and some become either disgruntled and want more or the success becomes like a drug and they then become unsettled because they feel they can only get this from one of the so called top clubs
In conclusion after success a club can then be ripped apart the following season so it will be interesting to see what happens to the Castleford team. |
