| Indeed. Now Gale back I'd give him a rest and play Walmsley or Booth.

I can see that too though he is making movement up the all time points scorer records and has a chance of breaking the #1 world record so maybe not.
I think there’s two weeks off before our semi final.

I’d still prefer Walmsley on left wing but Olpherts seems undropable from there since after Wembley.
I’m still not convinced with Kay at halfback.
I’d be tempted to run with Walmsley at 1 and Gale/Max hb.

| I know that it did not affect the result, but the subs bench looked disjointed. Maybe if Walmsley had have started at FB, Max up to the halves and Liam Kay on the bench we could have freshened the pack up more regularly.
Because of the three forwards and one back we did not get Walmesley on to the pitch until the final quarter. I always think if you can make 12 interchanges use them, especially at difficult parts of the game.

| That’s the big question for the run-in. Is it Jowitt and Gale in the halves with Walmsley at full back? Or does Powell put Trueman in and keep Max at full back?

If Trueman is genuinely fit I'd play him

Has to play if fit.
We've struggled in the half backs for months I look forward to having two genuine halfbacks in the team, although Max Jowitt is not far away from being a very competent stand off but he's an even better FB

Does anyone think we'll see Lino again this year?

No, hence the Trueman arrangement. Makes no sense otherwise. Powell knows how he plays so 'disruption' will be minor.

My bet is Lino will play next week.
Also if trueman works out ,I would also bet trueman and lino will be our pairing going into the play offs.

| Don't think we will see Lino again in a Wakefield shirt.
Yorks late hits and aggressive defence seemed to get at us a bit, don't think we matched them in terms of aggression. Hope Powell rests and rotates now until play-offs a lot of players seem to be playing banged up.

I thought Gale had a great game yesterday.
They really targeted him and he stood up really well. Bailey hit him late every kick and ran hard at him but Gale just kept taking him down with aggressive defense.
I think he'll be really missed next year.
I like the players we've brought in but I don't feel like we have a 'boss'

Where have you heard Lino's fit? I hope you're right but listening to interviews I'm not so sure. Also not sure where the talk of him moving on is coming from. Why would he? Where to? He's contracted, and one of three halves (plus Lawford who's still developing next year) battling it out for two spots.
Of all positions, half is probably the hardest to get thrown in, especially when the pressure's on. Requires a good understanding of your outside runners, their trust, play calls etc. For loads of reasons, if Lino's fit I think our halves will be Lino and Gale. But I don't think he'll be fit, so it's either Jowitt and Gale (shame to lose Max at FB), or Trueman and Gale (risk throwing Trueman in, and gutted for Walmsley who'd probably lose his place in the team).

| Going on Lino it was an abscess so I hear and it was not healing. However i am sure I saw a clip of him training recently and also saw him before the game and the indication was that he was just about ready. So like I say I believe Powell will want to get a game out of him before the play offs and my bet is he will have a run out against Barrow.

| The talk of Lino not playing again is just terrace talk with no foundation.
It's shown how much we need him while he's been out.
