Never good to have injuries and it’s a massive shame for Pauli but we have some great options to replace him! Haven’t been able to say that many times before..

Agree with wakeywall his leg was a major injury before he came ,just concerned his fitness is against him

Ludicrous decision to play him freezing cold in Gateshead injury waiting to happen with the weight he's carrying and his previous injuries poor management by the club.
Played in 2 friendlies a guy who clearly isn't a fan of the cold why risk him. V silly.

When Pauli had a car accident and was in a wheelchair for a month or so at Newcastle he actually lost about 12kg - couldn't get to the fridge I heard.

The Facebook comments about Pauli shouldn’t have been risked at Newcastle are ludicrous. He needed game minutes and it could have happened in training, in an opposed session or anytime. Thankfully we are more then covered in his position.

Pauli has his off moments as others have commented, but on his day he is far above average, in fact he is devastating.
You obviously haven't seen enough of him to brand him as average.

And you obviously don't know who your quoting matey, he's seen Pauli play as much as you and me have, just under a different moniker that's all.

He probably sustained his injury whilst turning to avoid the tackle / ruck area going by how he finished last season.

Lets hope the recovery time is a lot quicker than 3 months. We will miss him for sure.

No I'm sorry you are v wrong on this, the Yorkshire pit mentality does my head in on a weekly basis.. " when I was a lad I played in my underpants and a vest -10 down in Feth we used to get on with it.. blah blah" use tha brain and manage players accordingly this lad clearly miserable and struggling needs support yes his professionalism v poor but needs low impact get the weight off played the friendlies 3 from 4. Coming back from a car crash that may of ended his career we risk him at Gateshead too weighty knee gets crocked. I agree he needed more time than most but he's a special case like Korkidas needs revving up I'm afraid. Nurture the cheese for a good season, weve had a Xmas binge with a v good destructible force and we have what we deserve. Kopjack on the other hand looks like he's made out of absolute granite and he could play 4 games a week with 60 minute stints.
