I hope you're right, but with his past disciplinary record I doubt it (whether there was anything in it or not).

| Taking a more realistic view of things, and my belief that we will get at least one win and that the fixtures might do it for us anyway, I've changed my stance slightly and think we should focus on a Wembley visit. Top 8 is a must, but I think we'll get it anyway.
Let's face it, the Super 8's will be a dead duck this year (as it will be most years). There is already a six-point gap between 4th and 5th, and it will only get wider, because the teams above are better. We are eight-points adrift already. The chances of us getting into the top four are zero, although we might have some fun on the way. Focus on the Challenge Cup and one more win, and just enjoy the rest.

| For me, I would prefer to focus on the league, and make sure we are in the 8 come the end of round 23.
I don't expect to win too many games in the super 8s, but the under dog tag seems to fit us better and we tend to achieve more that way, but I would expect us to pick up a couple of wins along the way.
The only way we will shut up the doubting pundits is with a top 8 finish, and do this over a consistent period of time, rather than one season in three or four.
To me, we are still way off challenging the top 4, but we would be under no pressure in the 8's. We will gain more revenue, and we can start to plan ahead for 2017 without the threat of relegation, while some others can't. It has been a while since we can say that, and to me that can only be good for us, and any squad strengthening we may do for the new season

This is exactly as I see it Slugger.
We aren't getting anywhere near the top 4 and wins will be at a premium for us WHEN we finish in the top 8.
Chester needs to manage the squad and put everything we have into making progress in the cup.
Hopefully Huddersfield will have the opposite opinion and think of the cup as a distraction. However, they may also view the Cup as their only chance to salvage something from a diire season so, Thursday will be an interesting game.
I just want us to perform something like. Keep our discipline and look after possession, something badly lacking in recent games.
Lots of teams have really struggled in the wet conditions recently and it makes you wonder how the modern, faster, more athletic players would have coped with Winter rugby, when it was cold and damp every week (apart from cup final day, when it always used to be sunny (apart from the water splash final

| Scruton could be out for a month according to Love Rugby league. I can see him moving to Hull KR in time for the middle 8s.

He chucked the ball at JJB whilst he was on the ground. That was after JJB had injured himself whilst leading with the elbow while tackling DF.
Childs (the useless b******d) of course missed the elbow and Leeds got the penalty & DF the sin bin!
