Your first point may well be right, but to then say you've never even met him, totally undermines it.
If you'd said "I've met and talked the business of RL with him and he's clueless!", then fair do's.
As it stands, yours is just another unqualified opinion.
We are certainly missing Kath H, but how the current on-field debacles relate to that, I don't know.'"
How on earth would meeting him make any difference and thus how does it undermine my point. I say again it's he who has stated on numerous occasions he knows little about RL or Trinity's past - why would he?
Lets get one thing straight, the business of running a company WTRLFC I've no real issue, it's his money and frankly anyone with reasonable business experience could do that. Running a club in terms of a team and all it's composite parts that's not the same at all.
We know about Morrison and Georgallis because we've been turning up for 20 years - I accept we are just fans but it's still a huge knowledge base he simply does not have. This means he has to listen far more to Webster and Co than I'd like - this is the polar opposite to Ted who by the end may have sold the family jewels but was a canny constructor of teams - by that I don't mean he bought, picked and ran them but he knew when he was being taken for a ride. It's an art form, Ted used to tell many a tale of how he was mugged in his early days as a Chairman - this despite watching the game since he was 6 years old. It's not easy but Mr Carter is IMHO being badly advised, that's as diplomatic as I can manage.
