Why?
He looked good but he's not superman - he couldn't do that for a full game. Again, OTT comments when a simple played well would have done.
Still, it's a free country or so I'm told.

| Why, game time fitness = awesome forward!
Sorry i thought this was a place to post productive comments in support of your team. Not negative debates with people who obviously aren't recovering from playing at super league level!

| Got to agree he had good game while he was on the pitch, did what was asked but he needs to play like that every week just to be in contention to be picked, wilkes had a stormer of a 1st half and was the pick of the fowards last night.

It is, I thought you were suggesting he should have stayed on all game which if so was a bit OTT. If you mean he deserves to be picked again then I agree. We may have our wires crossed.

| Matt James, Frankie Mariano and Oli Wilkes showed REAL passion. Was really pleased with their performances.

| Matt James, Oli Wilkes, Andy Raleigh & Kyle Amor are our WTW props and they need to be in the 17 for the next few games against some very impressive packs (barring injury).
Southern & Johnson if used need to be reverted back to second row from prop although I think with Kirmond, Mariano, Lauititi and Walshaw they'll struggle to get in the 17 which if chosen on form will be strange that the captain is not good enough to get in the team. When R.A. talked about the Exiles he didn't mention his Captain once only Aiton, wonder if Southern will see out the season and return down under?
I think the bench needs to have 2 props (James & Raleigh), second row (Lauititi) and a utility back/hooker (Wood) on the bench. Heard Lauititi said at the game he'd be fit for the next match if so it'd be great to see him as an impact player from the bench.

| I was impressed with James last night, and as his fitness improves he should be an asset. However, I'm not convinced by Andy Raleigh. I thought he was poor last night and seemed to turn his back when he got to the defensive line. I'd be quite happy going with Wilkes, Amor, James and Johnson as our props and using Raleigh as back up when needed. It was also good to see Frankie back in the line up last night.

Maybe, bit early where James is concerned and frankly is better on form than Johnson. I think Raleigh is a clever player, his sort tend to do the unseen work but tackle buster he isn't. Good player to have in the squad all the same.

| I thought James had a good, solid stint and certainly looked like a real prop; hope he gets chance to start more regularly and crucially, backs up this performance.
If not, I expect some of those people who called for his inclusion in the starting line-up won't hesitate to crucify him on here.
