Avatar is Richard 'Dicky' Lockwood. I chose him as he was England Rugby Union Captain prior to the split, also playing for Dewsbury and Heckmondwike at RU. Then he played for the mighty Trinity in the Northern Union in the 1890's. Was a goalkicking threequarter but I think finished up playing in the forwards. But most of all he was born in Crigglestone- land of my fathers and my fathers fathers!

Name, well I used to be 'the blind ref' but thought that wasn't very PC so I had to think of another. I thought the '18th man' was relevant as it's rugby related and sounded mysterious, lol.

Was JudasHudson15 for a while, mainly because Ryan Hudson became my hero in his early days and he promised me he wouldnt leave, and he did.

Then moved onto to Roonaldo6 which at the time was when Jamie Rooney had signed but hadnt hit the heights yet. At the same time Wayne Rooney became Roonaldo so I adapted that to our own. Jamie did me proud for a few years. Name stuck whilst playing in the tag rugby games against other clubs and everyone called me Rooney or Roonaldo going forward. Dogs called Rooney too by the way.

When I was a student I came home one weekend and went to watch my mate playing for Stanley Rangers (Old Boys). They were playing away and were short, so they asked me to play. They asked what size boots I take, I replied "7 or 8", to which they replied, "these'll fit you". They turned out to be about size 12 and when I made a try-saving cover tackle I had to run with my toes pointed up to avoid tripping over the boots. Hence the nickname (ala Brassed Off - Coco the Scab).
