Over three years that is £2.1m they need to put in and doesnt address any of the structural problems which led Wakefield to this point, which would still need to be addressed.
If Mr Parkin or Mr Glover are to come in and invest, that is a good thing, but the what everybody wants is for Wakefield to become sustainable and growing. That will likely necessitate investment behind the season, clearing debts, increasing marketing, looking for where costs can be cut and revenue grown, getting the club on a firm footing and making it sustainable with a £1.2m SC before putting another £500k costs.
Lets be realistic it took Paul Caddick 7 years to get Leeds to the top, and that was with a lot of advantages that Wakefield dont have, [sizeif Mr Parkin or Mr Glover can have Wakefield in a new stadium, financially stable and sustainable, spending a full salary Cap they will have done a fantastic job[/size'"

don't think it could have been rejected as the administrator isn't appointed until tomorrow don't they look at the offers after they are appointed????? |

From my all be it limited knowledge, offers are sent to the solicitors of the administrator and are looked at before the administrator has been officially appointed. This is why it is possible for a company to exit administration the day that an administrator is appointed. |

So 'nailed-on' Parkin is now not nailed on in the same way the Newmarket would never get called in for a public inquiry.
