I’m assuming this is because although held was called he technically wasn’t tackled and Pitts was entitled to strip when he did.

That`s what I was told with Ganson, but it makes no difference now to us and if it makes Seth feel better, we should let him have this one.

It’s a shame though as the extra time would’ve continued and although we don’t know who would have won there would have been an opportunity. Like you say though, it matters not that Ganson states it was an incorrect decision because the mistake is in the history books.
