The problem is when you go for an experienced player, the good ones will want something extra to make them want to leave the big club and come to us.......like coaching prospects to extend their career or big money as a pension.
Coaching prospects have already been used to get Morrison so can't see that.
And to pay the big money it would have to be someone who can start the play rather than finish it. No good paying for a winger that won't get the ball.

I was thinking Richard Horne for a while at Hull as he is slightly pushed out with Long taking the lead and he has been injured for a while so they might be looking to move on, but I have a good connection at Hull who hasn't said anything so assume not.
Solomona would be another good one for us but he is being used effectively at Wolves and I don't think he particularly got on with Kear (think he asked him to train hard when he arrived)
Looking at the other squads there is no one else that would fit that criteria that isn't a key part of the team (like Pryce or Deacon)..so maybe over seas? Maybe lower division?

It is Darren Lockyer and Brett Kimmorley!

Neither will play every game, one week DL the following week BK, that gives Kieran Hyde a chance to learn alongside BK one week and Mattie Wildie playing with DL the following week.

Depending upon the opposition there will be games when Wildie & Hyde will play together and other must win games where DL will play alongside BK.

Apart from that both Lockyer and Kimmorley will coach the halfbacks, hookers and fullbacks in the squad (explains why we signed so many) that also includes the U20s & Academy players.

This is a great opportunity for the young kids at the club to learn from a couple of seasoned internationals.
