There there, get it out of your system, you'll feel better for it.
Now back to the topic.
I can't wait for AF to arrive, a genuine talent despite the baggage, who is hard as nails. Only wished I'd seen him play in the NRL but alas that remains a mystery to me

| Just hoping with John Morris being dismissed it doesn’t threaten his move to us. Will he be in the new coach Fitzgibbons plans for 2022 or even the interim coaches Plans for this year. Saw pictures of AF the other day after his Newtown Jets game and he looks in great condition, very very lean compared to his previous physique.

Maybe a deal for just this season?

| Think any deal would have to be up to the end of 2022. Mainly because Fifita has 3 kids and I know I wouldn’t consider up rooting my family for 5 months only to potentially move back to Australia.
There will be a lot of details to sort to make this happen. I hope it does but we will wait and see.

I'm not so sure, depends whether he can get a deal elsewhere in the NRL for 2022 onwards, if so a short stop over might suit him. He could travel over by himself and whilst not ideal to be away from his wife & kids, he obviously does have family over here and hopes to be coming over for the world cup in October anyway. A short term deal ticks the game time box so he gets selected for that, whilst also getting to play alongside his brother again and means he doesn't have to relocate his family. From our point of view it helps us hugely in the likely relegation fight and the financial outlay won't be as vast. Could be a win-win.
All this depends on the coaching siuation at Cronulla though and whether either or both or the interim coach this year or incoming coach next season want to keep him on the books. I'd imagine that would be his first choice given the chance.

I'd have thought Fitzgibbons would be planning on getting some of the older guard out to make some room for new talent on the cap. Isn't it something like 14 players out of contract at the end of this year? I can't see him having AF on his radar at all.
A move here for the rest of the season would be probably suit both parties. Gets him out of their hair, if some financial package is there, gets AF top flight game time, and gets him fit for the World Cup with Tonga.
It might well be that he'll see the World Cup as his swansong. He got himself fit and raring to go and then he's dumped to the lower level. That must have made him think long and hard about his future. How could he motivate himself for a tough pre-season when it did him no good at all?

| For those that don't have Sky or haven't yet switched on for the Whinos v Wiggin match, Jenna Brooks has just said that The Sharkies are currently non-committal regarding releasing Andrew, even though we were hoping for an answer by tomorrow and it could now be 2-3 weeks before we hear anything

| I can’t see the club making a struggling pack weaker by releasing a forward without a replacement in place. Then again, the club have made some daft decisions recruitment wise recently- Atkins and Brough for example.

| Cronulla are looking to offload eight of the current squad to make room for some new signings wanted by the new coach and Fifita is one of those. This does not mean he will be allowed to leave early but they don’t appear to want to retain him at the end of his contract, which is no good for us.

It doesn’t seem simple

Every coach has there own vision, whether Fifita is in the interim coaches plans for the season to cover injuries etc or even Fitzgibbons plans who knows. Either way I don’t feel as confident as I did about him coming now after the announcement on sky and reading chesters comments on the situation too.

For speaking the truth? He’s one of the most unprofessional players going and living off 2 good seasons, one in 2015 and 2018 and in between found time to
Support a murderer and abuse some child’s league referee so don’t try and portray him as some Uber professional like James Roby or Danny Maguire. He’s not. He’s someone who no nrl team want to touch.

How insecure are you. You claim to support Saints the best team in SL yet your still so jealous of anything anyone else gets you immediately spit bile, your like a petulant man child.
It’s an over used phrase but in your case it’s so apt, get a life.
