We are quick to castigate Fifita based on the club statement but did he request a smaller GPS, if not then OK but if he did why was this not also stated. I note that Chester was not exactly forthcoming just saying that apparently he had asked for a smaller GPS. He is the coach and should know therefore did he or did he not, I would suggest we wait for an answer before we just blame the player and coming up with reasons why he is no longer what he was and should go.

I am ready to be shot down here, but something about this GPS thing does not sound right to me. Let us not forget that David Fifita put his hand up to play whilst clearly injured on many occasions last season. I dont think that a GPS vest being uncomfortable would stop him from playing. There is more to this story.

There are different sizes available, but it seems like RL has a standard size, but everyone's anatomy is different. The current tracker may be too big and apply pressure on an area which has previous trauma. It might be that when he lands on his back during a tackle it puts uncomfortable pressure on the base of his neck which it might not on other players. He's asked for a reasonable adjustment be made in securing a smaller device. The club decided to drop him indefinitely instead of making a reasonable adjustment
