Who on this thread is claiming this virus is fake? No one is disputing the existence of the virus but rather the handling of it. It's a fake pandemic propped up by the mainstream media, celebrities, multi national corporations and politicians.

As for India, lets compare this to the UK.

UK population - 67,868,549
UK total COVID cases - 294,375
UK Deaths - 41,662
UK Deaths per 1M - 614

India population - 1,379,307,780
India total COVID cases - 317,368
India Deaths - 9,109
India Deaths per 1M - 7

That's 7 deaths per 1 million people! Nothing alarms me about that figure to shut down the economy and to run for the hills in fear. In fact the UK are doing far worst than India.

Excess deaths are easily explainable

1) Ending emergency treatment - Health care capacity was idiotically reduced. Typically it runs between 80-95% capacity all year round. As you can imagine they are dealing with "saving the lives" of some very sick and vulnerable people. In addition most A&E departments are swamped with new patients 24/7 365 days a year. At the beginning of the lockdown the aim by the so called top boffins was to "protect the NHS". In practice this meant chucking half of the very sick people back into their homes to die alone or for the sick elderly back into a care home. This awful policy helped reduce the NHS capacity by 40%, thus allowing a vast sum of people to die by refusing to treat any new sick people that didn't relate to COVID19 symptoms. Furthermore the elderly too sick to go back home were encouraged to sign a 'do not resuscitate form' so the hospital staff could spend time and resource on caring for the "young sufferers". No large sums of young people ever went to hospital as any sensible doctor knows that young people don't suffer complications with this virus. Note 57% of the total COVID deaths relate to people registered to care homes. How the MSM love to push their agenda to protect the establishment by focusing on the "racist virus" that disappointingly targets the BAEM Society over "White Privileged" people. This is the same MSM that take money from the Government to cover up their scandalous behavior.

2) Over treatment - Italy and Chinese doctors were spreading incorrect information regarding ventilators. Remember the headlines "get ready, make ventilators" all fake news and the hospitals bought into it. Ventilators it turns out are extremely dangerous as they only give a patient 34% survival rate.

3) Care homes and hospitals were ill prepared and historically aren't clean. Remember the scandals over the recent years regarding MRSA and the norovirus? The same problem occurred with COVID, patients being admitted to hospital with other serious illnesses were contracting the virus in the hospitals. These places are a breeding ground for disease. In closer quarters viral loads spread far greater between doctors, nurses and patients than in any other setting. This problem was compounded by the initial lack of PPE that helped spread the virus rife through hosiptals and care homes. The lack of PPE was caused by the NHS setting up a private arm to profit from the sale of millions of PPE overseas. So much for "Sir" Matt Hancocks pledge to "save lives".

4) You do realise the COVID figurs are exaggerated? The actual number of people in England and Wales that have died in hospitals specially of COVID19 in reality is 1,318. The other deaths were recorded as dying in hospital with recorded comorbidities on their file and also having being tested positive for the infection and not necessarily the disease . If you rewind back to the 2017/18 (Dec to Mar) winter season there was over 50,000 excess deaths for this period. That was achieved without hospital and surgery closures and was later blamed on the seasonal flu that killed 26,000 people in England alone. Imagine if they closed the hospitals the excess deaths for this period could have doubled. Imagine if they'd done some serious testing on the scale of COVID testing. I'm sure with a few multiple testing kits they could have doubled it to 52,000 flu deaths by tracing for a fragment of the infection. Where was the outrage from you back then?

5) Seasonal Flu 2019/20 5 year low - 8,000 deaths were recorded as deaths with flu complications. This effectively allowed a carry over of potential targets of the flu to instead become a target for the deadlier COVID19. With COVID we don't obviously have an effective vaccine which puts those vaccinated by the flu at a much higher risk.
