| The Avenger:
I don?t necessarily agree with Rodwell on that one, he/we have to remember that his time in the Championship was spent in an absolutely dominant team that was full time while the opposition was doing it as a second job!
Rodwell didn?t look as dominant in SL as he did in the Championship, yet Uele does. It?s not a dig at him, he did his groin before the Leeds game and was finding his feet in Sl up until now, where as Uele has taken to it like a duck to water and would walk into any SL team already. It?s not a dig at any player, just analysing what you said earlier about how different southern hemisphere players take to SL. For me, they have taken differently, with obviously different factor involved ie injury. I?m also not saying he?ll not make it in SL. If you were to ask me which player would have been the player to excel straight away I?d of said Rodwell, but he hasn?t, for me Uele has and to some extent Vagana. I believe there?ll all get there, just takes different time scales.

| Their paths have been very different, Rodwell was ready made, on the brink of NRL, and thus had a little less room for development especially physically.
Uele came to us out of shape, carrying the wrong type of weight and had been playing at a lower performance level, his fitness levels meant he had masses of improvement in him. He needs great credit for getting into superb condition and taking his game up a level or two.
For the record, I?m not bashing any player either, imo Rodwell will be a superb asset once he?s free of injury again while Uele will still get even better

| On Atoni, though he was good in flashes today but the with the charge close to the line and only a young lad in front of him he should have done much better.
I really can?t fully make my mind up with Atoni.

| What about the two passes in the best try I've seen from Wakefield in years?
If that doesn't impress you nothing will.

They were good. I did say he was good in flashes and that was the flashes of good. It?s just not consistent enough which is why I can?t make my mind up with him.

| I like Atoni, especially off the bench. But genuine question: who would you prefer out of Atoni or Satae - who?s also out of contract this year?

Hope we keep both ,they are playing there part in one of the best packs I have seen at Wakefield in a long time The pack are bossing other packs, the third try we scored was one of the best I have seen for a long time .Know the Catalan pack came back at us in the second half ,but think that was down more too penalties and not getting through our set of 6 tackles in the second half .!

| Atoni v Satai is a tough choice.
Slightly different style, Satai 3 years older but clearly is a powerful runner. Assuming Satai fits in to our team harmony and isn't on silly money you'd have to lean his way.
If I'm being honestthough, Caius is also in question for me. Yesterday shows exactly where his problem is. Brings lots of energy and half busts but drops the ball twice in key places.
If it was Atoni v Faatili v Rodwell it would be a tough call to lose one.
I'd rather keep them all.

| It looks like we'll be without Atoni and obviously Rodwell for Magic. If we lose Hamlin-Uele too we are in trouble.
We either play Pitts up front for a spell or we bring Shaw/Lingard back in.
Big Mc will need to do some long minutes and he was limping too.
Tough week in rehab team this week.

Mike got what looked like a right hip drop from the stand where we were sat!
