| A lot of coaches have inherited quality teams (Saints, Wolves, Wigan) and not won a single GF, never mind 4 - I'd accept a couple of poor seasons if I was gonna get 4 x GF wins and a couple of CCs to boot

Last time I spoke to Paul he was still an ardent fan.

When I first watched Trinity it was with my brother, we were young and he was a bigger fan than me.
He stopped going about 20 years ago. The last game he attended was the 2006 relegation game and I swear he was quietly supporting Cas.
Hasn’t even bothered with the last two relegation deciders let alone any other game. Only ever brings up Trinity to take the mic or be snide about them.
Why I don’t know but family is no guarantee of loyalty to the same causes, even those you once shared.
Something Trinity did in the past offended young Brian and that will never alter. Whether that would affect him as our coach who knows. Oddly there is every chance it would be a good thing, a lack of emotion and an I’ll show them mentality might just do the trick and then again it might not.

| Think I'm like a lot on here for my disapproval, even though I think CC desperately needs some impetus and input from somewhere..
I don't think we could afford him anyway so it's probably hypothetical.

Oh come on. It’s always been the rule that players, coaches and owners can’t have an interest in more than one club.
You can loan players however as far as I know there is no mechanism to loan coaching staff. Kear would have to resign from Bradford, why would he do that?
I’d of thought an expert like you would know the rules.
Rules of course can be bent by the likes of Wigan but they would crucify us.

| Dont think kear would come back for another stint now which is a shame cos we looked better with his input but cant see why mcdermott wouldnt do a similar job suppose we will see what happens after cup game tomorrow if carter decides chester needs to go or get some help in

| It’s all good and well suggesting a DOR or an assistant but there’s one massive stumbling block and that’s Chester would he really want Someone of MACs calibre stepping in ? Personally I think it’s a great idea but I’m not sure who , there’s not many out there who would fit the bill as DOR but plenty of assistants and just because there local dosnt mean they would be any better or any more loyal
