I haven't actually seen their squad, so i'm doing that good old pastime in assuming the likes of Huby, Grix are still missing, I thought I heard they lost a couple who came off against Catalans and would be doubtful too, but as I say haven't actually checked their squad out yet squire.

Grix & Smith would be in their 17 i would imagine if fit, plus obviously Grix's replacement Tansey is unavailable. Think a couple of their younger squad players are also out meaning there isn't much room for manoeuvre for them. I still believe they are there for the taking tomorrow, especially given it is Chesters first full week in control, new coach syndrome and all that. Whether we perform is another matter though.

Sorry I forgot about Daniel Smith, but if you stretch it a bit I could be forgiven for forgetting about him because there's been that many players they've nicked off us he went under the radar

We are being out muceled week in week out in the pack Anderson England and Scutton are average at best Yates & Walker are young with a lot to learn
Finn and Miller are not the best but to be fair they play behind a beaten pack every week
Huddersfield are a big physical side with good halfbacks in Brough and Brierley they have pace I can only see the annual massacre

Correct.
England tops our stats in most areas compared to other props and the rest of the team to be fair.
He's made more carries than any other person on the team with 88 (next highest prop is Simon with 62)
2nd highest tackle count (202) streets ahead of the next prop Scruton with (16icon_cool.gif and has also missed one less tackle than Scrutes.
Almost 100m more metres gained than the next highest prop, higher average gain - higher everything!

| its your best chance of beating us tomorrow in a long time, can def see you winning.
we have not had a settled 17 so far this season and injuries have bitten badly and the team is in the mire.
when you dont have your first choice half backs in ellis/brough playing together and behind a depleted pack with no crabtree/smith and a diff full back every week your going to struggle!
think you are +16 on the handicap, looks massive to me!

If Yates and Walker are fit then to play only 2 props is absolute madness in my opinion

| Quote: chissitt "Wardle is banned Ellis out Crabtree with alleged concussion probably, Brough taken off as a precaution last week but back, Huby also back Grix hasn't played all season and was not even considered when Anderson tried to sign young Hampshire at FB for the season and since then they've signed Brierley, they've got a couple of fringe players doubtful who probably would not play when everybody's fit but are good for gilding the lily with the sympathy vote, If I was a cynic squire, I'd say they were getting their excuses in early
Their squad does look pretty strong having looked at it Maybe we won't push them close after all then! But you never know, their fans don't seem overly confident, not that that means much One thing I will say is their defence has obviously been a bit dodgy so far, which is unlike them, but i'm not sure we have the weapons to take advantage of this, attack as we all know has been pretty blunt so far.....

| Maybe Miller would have a future as hooker in place of sluggish Sio.

It SHOULD be our best chance of beating Huddersfield for a long time but our problem is that we don't even know who our first 17 is!
I will be shouting optimistically but I am a realist - if the team clicks for the first time this season then we will win.

| Molloy, Annakin, A.Tupou and Ashurst have all played prop at some stage ....in addition to Scruton and Simon as genuine props...it says a lot for the props in the squad when the coach would prefer to go with playing back rowers in the middle though.
.....it'd be great to have Brough and Brierley in the Trinity squad!

I'm guessing that's the idea, he's not intending to play it in the middle.
I have to admire his bravery but I'm struggling to see where this group of players will fair any better on the flanks, apart from Johnstone Im yet to see any width or pace.
