Don't get too excited about your victory today we were understrength and played poorly and lacked in every department - I don't think you were by far the better side - you were below average and we were really embarrassingly poor. I would say that was a fair summary.
p.s - I have never seen Crabtree make a yard he is as dynamic as he is handsome.

Weird match today, went expecting a struggle with 30% of our salary cap out injured then 18 0 down in no time and everything going right for them I thought it would be a long afternoon. But we kept going and at 18 - 14 we were on top and if we'd have kept our head you never know what might have happened. Let's get next week out of the way and get some players back and get back on it.

At least Wigan haven't been playing that well, hope it will continue

Let's face it guys, there were lots of individual good things that happened, like Ali rattling them around and Crowther home debut (and try) and for a period some fast slick handling and some goal line defence that kept them out for long periods after the first 9 minutes.

Problem is the first 9 minutes did happen when we let players run through without even an attempt at a Mathers slip and when they nudged ahead we went back to that.
There were times when they had 4 men on an overlap and blew it.
There were some great breakout moves from us that was spoiled by a stupid pass that was just never on.

So we might have had a chance if we'd scored the try at 14-18 but we didn't and they used it and pulled away.

They beat us fair and square. If we'd cut out the errors we might have made a game of it.....but we didn't.

Exactly how I saw it.

No issue with the loss, just the comment that Trinity never looked like winning the game when in reality they had a damn good chance.
