Raleigh has been a bit unfortunate with injury this year but the one thing you can say is he gives his best.Just starting to get some game time and some form back and next season I recon we will see the Andy Raleigh of old giving it his all again.Get off the guys back and give him the chance to come back and do the hard work again as we have missed the hard work he did all last season. We are certainly a better side when he is fit and doing the hard work.

As eclair states some of us understand the finer points of the game and some don't. Most are just misguided some like try scorer try to convince us they are really Vincent Lombardi in disguise and then there is you. Ask Kirmond who he rates highest from his front row and I bet a dime to a dollar it's still Raliegh as it was last year.

Kirmond has indeed been our most awesome player this season but what that has to do with AR's contribution I have no idea. In his own way his contribution in the last few games has been immese, watch the games again.

Some people don't understand what player such as Andy do, you might not see it but they do stuff that could give the team the upper hand. We are better off with Raleigh then without trust me. A prop does more than run the ball in and tackle icon_wink.gif

Mr try scorer we all have our own opinions and mine is that Raleigh will be going well next season.I remember Brian Lockwood getting the Lance Todd trophy when at HKR then going to Hudds and Oldham some thinking he was past his prime in comes Dougie Laughton and he goes to Widnes and on to Wembly again.Raleigh is one of those players that will not always look to be having a good game but does some good stuff.

I give up. you obviously can't express an opinion on a player without been told "some people don't understand the finer points" etc.

It seems there are fans on either side of the fence but ofcourse the fans who are misguided are the ones that are of the opinion Raleigh has struggled this year in the main.

Ill just conform as I know nothing about the "finer points" as you so put it. Raleigh has been immense.

Job done.

Raleigh is about 6 foot 2 and 16 stone so is not a lightweight. Agree not as good as last season but still worthy of a place in the 17 every time IMHO. Didn't he score against Leeds the other night to put us in the lead chasing a ball down that most props wouldn't bother with?
Think Ferres has said in commentary that most props see those sort of kicks as time for them to take a breather but not Raleigh and not first time he's done it. He's been unlucky with injuries this year and in pre season was described as the fittest in the squad. Lets not pull players apart that are solid professionals without which Wakefield would be at the bottom of Super League. Trust Agar Raleigh is well worth another years contract.

Raleigh does tend to be quite sharp when there's loose balls around the try line.

I think we've had the best out of Raliegh now and keeping him for another season could be a grave error, time to move him and acquire a new prop. Then again I hope he proves me wrong and gets back to his form of last year.

Just how condescending can you possibly be?

It's an opinion and has nothing to do with understanding anything. I see a different Raleigh to the one you say has been "immense". That's all there is to it. If Raleigh has been immense, I would wonder if there is an adjective that exists to describe the performances of Amor which have been far better.

It's a shame yes that some people can be so condescending with other users who don't share the same opinion.

Nobody is pulling Raliegh apart at all. We all know he is a professional and dedicated as a player and person.

That doesn't mean that on a topic named Andy Raliegh he should be above criticism so long as its kept fair and reasonable and can be discussed in a reasonable manner.

I can be way more condescending with you if you'd like. I just don't like you're posts and I'm to old to care what you think about me.
