| Awesome, only word for it, seems unfair to pick any players out because they all played their part but Kirmond, Raleigh & Amor really gave the backs a great platform to work from, bloody brilliant game.
Oh yes, despite the few penalties he gave away, Mariano showed some brilliant go forward caused problems every time he got the ball and Smith and Sykes worked really well together again, Washy had a top game as well.

| Excellent performance from 1-17 (or whatever the squad numbers are). Our pack was totally dominant, especially Andy Raleigh and we put our wealthy neighbours to the sword.
Utterley brilliant and I think that Mr Agar deserves some hefty praise

| Superb stuff. For the first time I really felt like we had a quality squad. The pack was strong, and I always thought that was our weakness. They really stood up last night. With some recruitment in winter, we could have a good season next year. I'm not expecting the play-offs, but it would be real progress to be not far from them. Looking forward to Cas on Sunday!

| Quote: GET EM ON SIDE REF "Fantastic performance at last an 80 minute performance great gate 9500 on a Monday night confirms this is still our number one derby game this beats any win over Cas for me get Sykes signed up now please happy days
Raleigh Amor Wilkes outstanding effort Ellis solid 1-17 apart from the tries from kicks great performance bring on the Tigers
PS 7 bulbs out on one light get it sorted Mr Glover its just not good enough
Thought his distribution was a major factor in our go forward, his passses are extremly accurate and his dummy half running always made a good 10, was a bit miffed when he was taken off, but have to say Agar got it right with Wood this time.
Nice problem to have when Aiton is fit again.

| Great result last night we really took it to them. Could have had a fair few more points with good chances bombed in the first half. Great effort from all only slight downside was Fox's defence at times but we won so I'll let him off!

I reckon if we turned in those performances week in, week out, then a top eight IS a possibility. We've improved a hell of a lot to get to this point. The team are understanding each other better (witness the superb backing up last night), the near misses we've had (Warrington and Leeds away to name but 2) and the fact we're only a few points off top eight now. POSSIBILITY I say, not probability. I reckon we are probably on track with Agar's plan and targets.
We're on a roll and all we need is about another dozen games this season!!

| Best performance from Trinity I’ve seen since the Catalans home match. Notwithstanding the shocking tries conceded in the second half, the defence was superb. Two games on the trot now when Trinity have kept the opposition below twenty, no coincidence that both have fished with good victories.
Although I have doubted his constant inclusion in the match day squad, Kyle Wood really swung the game back in Trinity’s favour after it looked like Leeds were getting a roll on. It was vital that he made that break which ultimately set up the Washbrook try. Had Trinity conceded again I doubt they would’ve gone on to win the match. He looked very spritely and seemed a pain to defend against with his probing, almost Burrowesque.
All in all a fantastic night of RL. I thoroughly enjoyed the Monday night game, even before Trinity secured the win. Much better than the Saturday night match experience which in comparison seem to be very flat.

i agree. i thought we were the best side by quite a margin overall, but that the result was in the balance for far too long - but i guess that made it all the sweeter.
sadly the same frailties are there now that were there in the early weeks of the season. our complete and utter inability to defend the kick, and equally (or more tellingly?) to fail to put any pressure on the kicker is inexcusable and nearly cost us a game we were in almost complete control of.
andy raleigh has to be the signing of the season, and for all sykes' faults the lad kicks goals so is worth his place. perhaps he's fullback material, much taller than mathers and quite prepared to stick himself in the mix in any situation including jumping for a high ball under pressure. cockayne won't be a fullback as he'll keep getting out jumped. on balance i think we should wave goodbye to mathers unless he is really affordable....

| Agreed, really enjoyable game last night. Have watched it back and other than the season old issue of defending kicks out wide, it's hard to find a fault with anyone.
Think in Aiton, Ellis and Wood we have 3 good quality and yet different options at Hooker. Amor and Raleigh were immense, Sykes bossed it again, Smith kept Leeds guessing all night, Mathers made lots of yardage with clever return play so really pleased with all of that.
Think Washbrook deserves a mention, goes about his business quietly, but watching the game back his runs off the ball and tackling were first class.
