At my count it's 13 including me and you twice. Not sure if tricky is just in once or not. Quite suprised at the lack of interest. Thought this would have been the ideal time to do something like this with the club on a high especially with the club on board as well. If its an issue with trust i can arrange for people to pay their own bit at th club shop i would have thought. I ain't no thief peeps.

Well done to all and esp good words for Martin. I sponsored a player last week and got one or 2 others to do the same and found our Commercial manager extremely helpful. Hope to do more in the future.

is there a min or max I can put up for sponsorship?

Not really. Just asking £50 at the moment but the more people join the cheaper it gets. At the end of the day we need to raise either £600 or £1200. Preferably £1200 to enable us to sponsor a first teamer or two juniors. So far i've got 13 people at £50 each = £650. Three of us are willing to put 2 lots in and not sure about tricky, they may also. So £800 so far. Another 8 people and we're sorted.

From our experience on the Bradford board, can I suggest 2 things? Firstly, it's a good idea to put up a numbered list of contributors. That way, you avoid confusion about who has pledged money, and it's useful when the time comes to collect. Everyone can also see if someone doesn't keep their promise (not that that, I'm sure, is likely to be a problem). Secondly - be patient. We managed over 70 contributors on RAB this year, but it took several weeks. Also, it was the second year we had done it, so people were familiar with the idea and its benefits. I think we got 50-60 in the first year, but again it took weeks.

In both years, we have contributed £20 each. If you can get your contribution down to £20, I'll chip in as a one-off!
