I'm sure there will be more details issued in due course, but a few people have had an explanation of the issues involved and it is a complicated situation - a technical one.
By going into an IVA the creditors are entitled to money from Ted. If he didn't go into an IVA they could have sought money from his companies. That's what I mean when I say it protects the club. It is NOT incompetence on the part of Ted and I would urge caution about those type of comments until the detail is known.
The RFL are aware of the details. Their response is awaited. |

By the sounds of it he has been shafted, it's certainly not through incompetence, well not from Ted. |

I would hazzard a guess that investing in newly built property in last 3 years or so - in hindsight wasn't a great idea. Wouldn't it be possible to sign the club over to the community trust now? Ted has always said he would let the club go for a £1 if a buyer could be found?

Not related. The issue goes back several years. |

A big RL fan and dedicated patron of professional sport.
From what I heard at the time (and this was a year or so ago) he wouldn't touch the club while Timmin's and Ted were still on board. With them gone???

Your making these comments because Ted has some financial issues - technical issues - whilst he has taken action to protect the club.
Eric France have gone bust in the past - but the owners have escaped and re-started.
Now which one sounds like the right type of person to trust with our heritage? |

Well I would disagree.
I honestly don't believe that Eric France (retired) or Jonathan, would have the patience to see the thing through. I would compare it to dancing with the devil.
The current situation is not good, but the work to push the club forward continues and the relationship between Ted, Rodney and Colin cannot be over-stated. |
