Let me be clear, I'm a Leeds fan, I'm a neutral and just telling it how I see it.

The clear message around here is "Stop talking to us, we don't like it"

Well if you can't see it from what's already been posted then as I said there is no point. You have even less knowledge of the position than the Fax fans and certainly less knowledge than the likes of the Clan (as far as our application was concerned).

The clear message, is were sick of going over old ground when all this has already been done to death. We as fans and the club are trying to look forward and therefore we don't want to read ill-informed comments from other fans and the Halifax chairman.

At last, someone with a bit of sense.


As I understand it, it's the other way round really, that Halifax were not going to apply this time but were encouraged to do so by the RFL.
Then, when they see Crusaders retracting their application at the very last second, they could be forgiven for thinking that the RFL have side-stepped the decision about Wakefield.

If debate it is then be prepared to accept that on certain important points you're wrong. I don't claim to be an insider but solely due to my whereabouts on Tuesday and the people I was in the company of, I was made aware of certain facts by people who are on the inside and I'm not referring to anyone at Wakefield Trinity.

The Halifax Chairman will no doubt go very quiet and on receiving feedback from the RFL might reflect with some regret his numerous outbursts.

Clearly if Halifax were the insurance policy for us, then the decision to keep us in based on input from independent experts should surely quash the whole argument. Halifax were only ever going to be in, if we didn't match up to the requirements and we did end of discussion.

But he would say that, wouldn't he?

You make a decent point about it having been done to death (which I'll maybe take heed of) and then pop in an unwarranted bit about other fans being ill-informed.

I don't get this at all. You're in. The merits of the system might be flawed as a flawed thing. But you made it.
If it were Fev I'd be over the moon and no amout of baiting, sniping, or embittered crapola from other fans (incl myself), would destroy the elation at the mo.

True but we have a long history of being the lepers of SL and eventually it grinds - certainly doesn't take the elation away.
