Well no points back. Time for us personally to kick on and not give them something to moan about when they're in the championship such as 'we kept you up!'.
However feel sorry for the loyal Bulls fans, we've been through it and it's a terrible feeling know that the club you've supported for years has crumbled due to bad management.

How many times would you have gone down if you didn't have your 9 lives?

Isn't that the case for every club who doesn't get relegated? Last time I looked, we have survived in Super League because we were better than the club that didn't survive. Even now, at our lowest ebb, we would be above Bradford if they had got all their points back.

Those with their close contacts in the media & amongst SL players who had been told it was definitely 4 points might be a little more sceptical next time.

Lets be honest had Bradford regained their points the team we have would not IMHO have been up to the relegation battle - in fact that may still be the case though the chances of that now look a lot slimmer. As it stands at this moment we are rubbish, no better than Bradford and not a million miles off the whipping boys of London when playing class opposition.

This is not the worst or most gutless Trinity team I've see, but it's by far and away the worst in terms of ability versus performance. It's dishonest - it's criminal and in these days of professionalism unforgivable. There has to be a bottom as well as a top I accept, and we are not top but we shouldn't be as bottom as we are.

As for the club in general jungle man is correct and even despite Castleford's two relegations they have still not managed to implode with the monotonous regularity we do, hell even Bradford have not matched us yet. Below is our list of misfortunes and general cock ups we have been victims of in SL alone - it makes terrible reading.

2000: John Pearman the first white knight who attempted to buy and build a club using the currency of washers. The appalling treatment of Andy Kelly.

2001: CVA, last day relegation battle.

2002: Last day relegation battle.

2003: Peter Roe.

2004: A good year.

2005: Business as usual, McNally develops an unchecked messiah complex and is eventually sacked and we manage to sign one of the most unpleasant people ever to play the game in Julian O'neil - and we were warned.

2006: We had the wrong Tony Smith, ours was truly rubbish. Saved more by luck than judgement and the fact that we signed JK at his peak and probably the only coach with the ability to pull off the great escape against of all teams Cas - that was not planned it just happened by accident.

2007: A reasonable year.

2008: Great year on the pitch with a CCup semi final though even that was marred by a suspiciously inept goal kicking display. Of the pitch the clubs ambitions for Thornes scuppered by a corrupt Council.

2009: OK year.

2010: The poop really starts to hit the fan. The club goes bust and somewhere along the way BV is lost.

2011: White knight No2 arrives with IMHO no intention of running a SL club - only for us to be "unexpectedly" saved by the last minute demise of the Crusaders.

2012: Good year.

2013: Yet again a total and largely unexpected financial meltdown at the end of the season combined with the return to our old ways with a very disappointing season on the pitch. An end of season that saw us in administration in all but name AGAIN.

2014: The crown jewels sold yet again to steady the ship. A hastily put together team led by a Coach who didn't want to be here. We have endured a season of utter rubbish on the pitch continually looking over our shoulders in the hope Bradford didn't get their points back - saved again (hopefully) by a last minute reprieve. Then the crowning turd in the water pipe the club and sporting public of Wakefield stiffed by just about everyone regarding a new ground at Newmarket.

I could make a much longer list to be honest but I think the point is made - how much longer can this go on - as jungle man says we surely can't have many lives left.

I know we have mitigating circumstances - many in fact - and we have been hopelessly unlucky on occasions especially where the stadium is concerned. Yet this can't fully mask the fact that the club has been hopelessly run for the last 40 years let alone the SL era. It has to stop or IMHO what's the point carrying on.

I'm no pessimist or serial moaner but we as fans, as a club, as the BOD, as a city need to face up to the truth and sort ourselves out once and for all or there will be no future.

He may well have a valid point but. I for one don't want our patronising six fingered cousins gloating!

Indeed but we don't half make it easy for them. Also you don't want them as cousins, if they were you'd probably be married to one of them

Yep if a trophy on offer for the worst run club over the last twenty years we would have won it hands down. The last two seasons would have gone to extra time with Bradford.
