| Apparently he needs one more try this season to equal the club record set by Morgan Escare. That would be quite an achievement in his first season

I don't so much think the club did, more like the coaches especially Chester. In some games we only got the ball to him 3/4 times at most and we had no set plays to get him in the game. FFs he was almost certainly our best player in SL and we didnt have the gorm to even attempt to utilise his ability half the time, it used to drive me crackers.

| He played some games he shouldn't have on the back of head injuries IMO.
He was knocked out one week, then next week he knocked him self out diving over the try line against Catalan.

| Really looking forward to the Grand Final, and Tom in particular.Hope he can shine on the big stage and show everyone what a marvellous player he is,which we at Trinity,of course, have known for a long time.Who knows, he may not be the fastest player on show today with French and Field playing for the Pies, but for finishing in the corner, or anywhere else for that matter,or leaping high for a kick at the line, he is the best, imo.I only hope that his, slightly greedy centre, gives him the ball!

| For the biggest match of the season I thought it was a very disappointing, below par spectacle, devoid of any real quality, and if that's the best our game can come up with, then I think we really are in trouble.Absolute stinker compared to the Aussie final. Can't imagine anyone else apart from Wiganers enjoying it.

Poor game throughout and an awful spectacle for the showpiece event. Tom went well defensively though and gave a performance that will be very handy for him moving forward given it was a misguided perceived weakness in his game. Crowd was announced as about 58,000.

| Difficult to understand how teams with so many brilliant individuals can turn out such a poor game.

Catalan are the great spoilers of the game (along with saints) they just constantly spoiled and slowed down the ruck, just as saints have for the last 4 years. It’s an awful tactic that’s crept in to the game, Wigan just stuck at it and if not for a forward pass and the yellow on Davies for pulling Marshall back, they would have had a couple more scores. Dragons never looked like they had a try in them, Tom was excellent in defense but they never got any ball to him in open space.
I agree it wasn’t the best game for the neutral, but at least the result wasn’t decided until the last couple of minutes.

| The Toulouse v London game was far more enjoyable and entertaining than Catalans v Wigan.

| If Bernard Gauche thinks that Catalan lost the Grand Final through a lack of pace, can we have Tom Johnstone back?
