Sundays for me too

Sundays

On Sundays though you also get your Friday evenings free.

I’ve just always preferred it and now I have kids it’s just so much more convenient for them.

Does anybody actually know if it’s a club decision?

I think it was...I remember that survey that we all did a couple of years ago and I'm fairly sure that after that MC stated that Friday evenings were financially better for the club ??

I actually preferred Sunday, less traffic, easier to get away support increasing revenue and easier to park plus I quite liked the 1530 kickoff time.

Friday nights are a great start to the weekend. I just can't get to them, due to other commitments too far from Wakefield at the worst time to drive.

But whichever brings in the most money is the best option, as that it what puts the best players on the field, and the best start to a weekend is a win.

Not a fan of Thursday though. Preferred the Saturday 6pm Sky slot.

Perhaps only local derbies should be on Fridays and away days Sundays.

I honestly can’t see there would be much difference Friday to Sunday. I think long term though sunday would be better for younger fans. Maybe a mixture of two to guage what works best.

Friday nights may be more popular for work events so maybe we can rent out the function Room more on Fridays? The business is evolving

The arguments, or reasons for picking Fr, Sat, or Sun for the games are well documented - you certainly don't want to play Sun then Fri (or even worse Thurs).

I do think that Wakey have bent over backwards far too often to accommodate other clubs logistical challenges.

Didn't we change a game-day to help Saints around a cup final? Anyway...

Yes. We pulled it forward by a couple of days to give them a longer break and also prevent them losing a player who might fail an HIA. In the end Sione Matuatia copped a ban for a nothing incident, missing a Wembley match up against his brother and leading to MC getting fined for criticising the disciplinary panel for being over zealous.

12 month's later Saints were taking pictures of our plastic chairs as pay back for our cooperation.

I don't really mind but I do prefer Sunday.

So Sunday is the day you like to swing, whatever floats your boat.
