Really difficult to get your head around tragic events involving kids. So sad.

She was a very brave and beautiful little girl and always had a smile on her face.

Very sobering this. I always wondered who Big Dave was visiting in the corner after games and came to realise it was little Isla. Just genuinely don’t know what else to say to describe how awful it is. RIP

Just thought I’d bring this back to the top.

With the death of Isla and now Jack Kirmond in tragic circumstances I’m praying we can bring this awful year and a few previous ones for the Trinity faithful to an end.

Obviously don’t blame the players for the above but it would be nice if they could make one last push to save the club and allow the fans to go away and recover. RL (football) is.not more important than life, easily one of the dumbest things anyone ever said. But what Shankly really meant was that it was important for enjoying life.

Let’s just hope next year survival permitting is a new dawn. We need to start again, we can’t go on like this.

I just wanted to know what good will look like to you. I thought it was a reasonable question to start a discussion. My mistake.

I'll answer from my perspective:
Next year - good would look like:
1) challenging for the playoff spots instead of worrying about relegation battles
2) Making a decent stab at the Challenge Cup (Semi-final or better)
3) Seeing the East stand completed

If I'm honest there's only 1 of those 3 that I have any belief in sadly.

Long term - good would look like:
1) A good team built around our Academy products and supplemented with some real quality
2) Regularly hitting the playoff spots
3) A piece of Silverware
