| Think Max is like TJ stood down for 4 weeks unless the RFL uphold Wakefield's appeal.

| Reminds me of matty ashton from the wires, both fast and elusive and look about 12 ,looked a great prospect when he was in the Widnes squad . What impact he will have in his two week tenure is hard to see, but give the lad a chance I say

He doesn’t need to do much just the basics will be fine.

No he isn't.
1) you are stood down if you have two consecutive HIAs or you don't recover in the week by failing the assessment again.
2) you can't appeal an HIA.

Because he's not good enough (at the moment) and neither is Croft.

You’ve got to despair at times.
Ollie has some obvious potential and had a really good go in his last game but he’s not better than Lyne or Bill or Arundel.
Croft is closer and if we were short of centres then maybe.
Above all though you don’t want to bring youngsters into a demoralised team. It’s not just that we are losing we are low on confidence.
Matters at that age, there are exceptions, I don’t suppose it would have worried a young Danny Brough but they are rare.
It’s the senior players imho who need to step up we shouldn’t be expecting miracles from rookies.

Croft for me is the one who will be taking over from Tupou when he leaves Wakefield which may be end of this season?
J thought Croft did very well last season when called on and certainly looks the part.
I’m sure that sending him out for a string of games in the championship will help him progress further and I suspect in 2022 he will be our first choice left centre.

But Croft isn't a winger!
Kershaw, Kay and Senior are.
Greensmisth is better than players who play in SL, after one game against Championship Dewsbury in a friendly, seriously!
So what is your point?

Tupou is under contract for next season so i'd expect him to still be here.

There is a massive step up from u19s to A Team and another step up to Superleague standard. Unfortunately, the younger players have not had the ability to learn their trade at A Team level and are being asked to jump straight up to Superleague. Most good juniors dont make the adjustment and end up playing at Championship level. From what I have seen of both players, Croft is ahead of Greensmith in development but both players lack in pace, footwork, finesse and intelligence of good Superleague centres. That may come, but I dont see it at the moment. So whilst they have the capability to 'stand in' in terms of need, they are not obvious replacements for what we have got, and may end up being good Championship centres, unless they can dramatically progress.

Croft is better player than any of those wingers and he has played on the wing before i belive when he partnered junior sau although i could be mistaken
Greensmith i have seen more than the once as unlike you i dont just watch games on yyee i actually go watch academy and scholarship games.and had it not been for him we would of conceded another try v dewsbury saving a walker bacon in doing so.
So vastman my point been we have centres in lynne and billy who are more than capable of playing on the wing infact billy started his career as a winger so for me id rather see croft in centre and one of these on wing as i really dont like to knock players but tje wingers mentioned are not and never will be sl standard

So Croft is a better centre than Arundel, Lyne (GB Player) and Tupou. You must think this or you wouldn't shove them on the wing. He isn't.
Lyne was never really a winger and hasn't played there in years, why would you even contemplate it.
Croft a better winger than Kay or Kershaw, even when he's played wing he's not been great, so bad actually that he made that many howlers at the Leeds Boxing day game they took him off! He's a centre, end of.
Greensmith has played one first-team game yet you want to put him in and push Lyne or Tupou or even Croft (a more experienced player) onto the wing, really?
I honestly can't take you seriously at times.

Batch is a better plater than those wingers too and has played as many times on the wing as Croft. So should we play him there too?
It is good for Croft to get some real game time in his preferred position. He'll come back stronger.

You really are cluless dont think i know anybody who think they know so much but actully know nothing.
Read (thats if you can) what i say i think croft is a better player than the wingers playing therefore play billy in his nautraul postion of wing (lets be honest he hasnt done nothing in last 2 years at centre)billy is a better winger than those playing thus creating a centre spot for arundal or croft this could also work on the other wing with lynne who as also played wing many a time ( a GB player you say but he never played for GB again shows your lack of knowledge)and again a player of better quality coming into the side. For me this would improve and make the back line stronger as there is better calibre of players there.of course keep playing players whos mistakes/lack of quality are constantly costing the team trys.
Has for players been slightly out of postion yep maye so but no more than jc at hooker walker at 6 westerman at prop jowitt at 6 or even kelepi atprop
