| I have seen Jowitt play stand off for the reserves and he played very well, definitely did not look out of place.

Didn't he play some of the time in the half backs and was quite impressive?

You just know when the guy gets back from injury his place is guaranteed no matter what.

I get the feeling you don’t like our coaches, our spine of the team, the new signings we got this year therefore I’m a bit puzzled why you bother supporting the team

He wears a size 7 shoe but should actually wear a size 9, other than watching Wakey and moaning on here, the only other bit of pleasure he gets in life is when he takes his shoes off

| I have watched Wakefield for 64 year . l now say it as it is.Think it's some on here who need to stop looking through tinted rose glasses . We are in deep trouble .We are bottom 3 on a good day ,unless some thing drastic happens .H K R last night were playing with out there first choice 7 and 9 and still looked a lot better playing the basic rugby than we are at present .Had enough of injury excuses . 5 wins in 20 + games says it all

| I'd play Jowitt at stand off. He can pass a ball and has good feet. I think he has started the year well considering some of our results.
I'm not a big fan of Brough walking straight back into the team - if you take the first half last week when Miller showed some energy and go forward, I think Brough, whether it's intentional or not, sucks this part of Millers game out of the team the he plays.
If we were serious about succession planning at half, Bailey or Jowitt would be playing this weekend. I'm just not sure Brough can keep coming back from injuries, especially when he is not doing the goods while he is fit.

Agree there, to a point legend.
I have been watching for 40 years almost, and there are fans out there, who wear the rose tinted ones too often.
Wouldnt necessarily say we were bottom three, but those who think we are top 4/5 need a serious reality check

Give over 40 years, if that's right you never had a morning paper round like the rest of us.

Can assure you it it.
The first season I went, where i started to take it in was the 1980-81 season, I think we finished something like 4th or 5th, played away at Fulham in the Challenge Cup, and only just scraped through.
I did go earlier than that, but didn't really take it in too much.
I had two paper rounds, I did one in the morning, and one in the afternoon.

I too have watched Trinity for over 60 years but that makes me more realistic than having rose tinted glasses. We have only play 3 GAMES, the first Hull KR, yes we would have expected to win but didn’t, Warrington- despite them having marquee players we won perhaps not expected and thirdly Castleford, there won’t be many teams go they and win. We haven’t yet had our first 17 on the field and if we are still near the bottom after 10 games I might then agree we might be in trouble. Forget last season, we are now in a new season but whether you like it or not injuries do have a big impact, unfortunately we have been a bit unlucky with these.

Yep spot on, realistically 2 points is about what Id have expected from the 3 games so far. This is why I cant understand all the chester out nonsense. Lets not forget we deservedly beat Wire a couple of weeks ago. All teams are having odd results, like you say, lets see where we are after we've played everyone once.
