We shouldn't need to now.
Fifita
Green
Kopczak
Tangata
King
Gwaze
Is enough for front row with Arona back up.
Tanginoa
Ashurst
Pitts
Batch
Kirnond
Are my SR in order.
Westerman
Arona
Crowther
LF pretty equal but I think that will be the order.
Looks good to me.

| Shrewd signing by the club and a good player who I think will only get better the more he’s around our club

| Good solid prop signing who should get even better in a full time environment. Hope he plays next week for Cook Islands and it can be viewed on 'You' know what....

I can’t ever make it out to be honest. If we have it might be worth leaving it open and picking someone up mid season if needed and if we can afford it. Had a lot of luck in recent years by doing that. Tupou, Fifita and Tanganoa were all recruited that way.
I think you get far more choice with NRL players mid season when they can’t break into the first team or the NRL contracts on offer are not as good as they hoped for.
It’s perhaps a bit of a gamble but hardly reckless, no need to buy just because you. Wait until the player you really want becomes available.

| It’ll depend on injuries, but I think Arona will be used more as an out and out prop this coming season. I know he said the same about Tanginoa, but I can’t see that happening too often as it would mean leaving out two from Fifita, Kopzcak, Green, Arona and King.
And whilst we have the depth, I’m not sure we have enough quality in the second row to play Tanginoa anywhere else. Kirmo must surely be backup only, and Batch isn’t ready for a full season yet which leaves Ashurst, Kelepi and Pitts as the first three choices in my opinion.

Tang-IN-oa or Tang-I-noa but not Tang-A-noa.
But I agree with your point. Worth waiting.

True waiting has proved fruitful for us the last few years. The only thing we can go on is CC said on the 21st October Quote: Fishermanscap "The Trinity chief admits he does have his eye on one more recruit, hailing the player as a "top-quality signing," if Wakefield can get a deal done.
He added.'
As for Non fed/overseas, we have one left if Tangata counts as Non fed.

Pretty sure he does he had an exemption when he signed for fev but in theory that lapsed when he went to another club - but who knows with the RL

Tangata shouldn’t count as should be still under dispensation rules as still on his contract from when Halifax signed him as Widnes had to tear his contract up

| What do Halifax gain from this deal. Not sure why we have sent him on loan with no players in return
