My take on the situation is that we were told to upgrade the ground and spent a boat load of brass (500k) whilst none of the others did (Cas, Bulls). Hence the RFL have taken this into consideration regarding helping us out.

I totally agree with you, although I doubt that will carry any weight in terms of them wanting the money back. |

They might not want the money back it might be a token gesture from rfl for glovers hard work off the field and in showing he's put time and effort into the club they have rewarded him.

But, on the other hand, Belle Vue has needed improving for donkey's years. It's ok the club whinging that it's not needed for criteria purposes or whatever, but it was long overdue for us supporters. |

On reading the article, I think the 300k tax bill referred to was the one prior to admin in 2011. |

If thats what the Halifax Courier has to say on the matter, It will be interesting to see what the Wakey Express say.

AG has put enough into the club not to be on the wrong side of the requirements that was requested at that time which is has now been removed
WTW have tried to keep up with the rest but is proving to be a difficult job |
