Thought Kirmond was immense but most of the pack had a real good dig. Out left hand side defence is a real achilles heel though, Lyne was all over the place and left Fox with no chance. Don't blame the officials for the result but thought we had some hard calls against us.

Thought they only got a penalty which led to a try when Fox was coming back into the line after being injured because Richards protested and Alibert consulted with his linesman. Had it been the other way you feel he would have just played on.

Wigan's last try (which didn't effect the result) was short and then placed over the line which is a double movement and a penalty to us but Alibert and suprisinginly the in goal judge misssed it. Even Wigan fans in hospitality could not believe it.

Overall after the previous 2 weeks I was proud of the team and have no complaints. They "manned up" and if we continue to play the same we should pick up 4 points from our next 2 games.

To be fair I thought Kirmond going off injured was a big part of it by taking away a forward for the few remaining interchanges at the end.

Alibert is clueless and at times just makes things up.

Saw what I needed to see today. Effort, enthusiasm and no little skill. Had Wigan on the racks until the final 15 minutes when the intensity in defence dropped off, coincidently when Kirmond left the field. Still too many brain facts which ultimately cost the team an unlikely victory but I can't criticise too much.

Thought Wood had his best game and also thought Wildie took his opportunity well. Amor MOM for me. Play like that against Salford and London and we should be looking at 4 points.

No you'e not. Very galling for cockayne's pass to be called forward in last 1/4. Must have been inches if it was and I will be taking a look on SL full time at the score under sticks at far end that put them in lead; long way away but player reaching suspiciously far for the ball. Smith and Kirmond went off and couldn't come back on so we were down on subs. Webster said after the game that we only had 1 sub left with 20 mins to go.
Ultimately that cost us.

Wigan didn't have those issues so were bound to end stronger than us. Added to that turning the ball over in our half a few times and the defense eventually broke.
