hmmm From what I know about Taumata, he's a bit of a bad lad and comes with a lot of off field issues...a bit of a cross between tevita latu and todd carney.....and our squad isn't a bad lads army....he may upset the apple cart.

if he was even allowed into GB would you want the risk of employing him?

You never know coming over might help him. We've had players who have had problems, he might turn his life around outside of AUS.

This thread is the prime example of how bad rumours start. Very much in the same vein as the John to Salford rumour. A rumour started by wakefield fans, for wakefield fans!! Pretty sure in a couple of weeks this will be recycled on another future thread to the tune of "I'd heard we were swapping John for Taumata"!!!

Salford!!! - maybe there was some truth in it then. I wish someone would just ask Isaac (hint, hint).

but if he does go back to NRL at least he will get a game every week whether it is the top team or the NSW cup, which he isn't able to get here. All the best whether you stay with WAKEFIELD or not, he seems to be a nice enough lad. Bet he will be sad to leave our winter - not.

The problem with Isaac at the minute is that we have nowhere to play him. Even if Sykes got injured Isaac has got no gametime under his belt and stands little chance of getting any to get himself match ready due to the new junior/reserves set up meaning he can't play there and the fact that he is a quota player means he can't even go out on dual reg.
As said earlier if we hadn't been desperate for a kicker then Isaac would have had a chance to develop in the first team last year. That didn't happen and now he is going to find it extremely difficult to break in for the reasons stated above - where is he ever going to get "match" fitness and readiness from??

I have nothing against him but I do think it would be better for all parties if he could move on.
